I have psoriasis didn't know had to vaccum ever day , dust affects psoriasis 🤔 gonna do some research on that, thanks 👍 I tap my filters outside in garbage can , cause a lot of dust comes outta there 😝
Hi, I suffered psoriasis when I was 30 and I 'd like to share the way I got rid of it completely.
First of all I quit my stressful job in the city ( Buenos Aires) and found something in my small town.
I almost quit red meat and chocolates. Beer is not recommended but I have never drank alcohol.
I made a great effort to avoid scratching with my nails, and I applied a special clay that is prepared specially for this purpose.
I am 63 now and never had psoriasis again. I wish he can get better!!! Greetings from Argentina!

Great job puts new life back in the filter . I also wrap the filter in bounty kitchen towel with a nylon sock keeping it all place a filter bag is also the where to go as you have .👍👌

Nice video. Thank you. I think to some extent, for really deep cleaning, it would also help while water is running, to use the handle of a tea spoon lightly running it alongside each folds especially if filter hasn't been cleaned for years.
For those who do not want to get hand wet. Alternatively, use another vacuum cleaner, and if you do not have one, then simply take it to any petrol station that has a pre-paid vacuum cleaner. Use a tea spoon handle and a mini paint brush. Be sure to wear face mask though because dust could be irritating if inhaled.

Watching this to clean my HEPA filter after cleaning car seats, sofas, 8rooms and 1 window.I didn't use soap liquid. Just poured Dettol on water n cleaned it, but it is not whitening properly. I am hoping a drop of Dettol won't disturb the HEPA mesh.I Will try with this soap liquid. Lol didn't know you already had a video for all this. You have a wealth of information on wdbd10.

I saw some people wrap the filter with a piece of toilet paper (1 layer) so that the dust can be removed easily.

Hello! I just stumbled on your video looking for sponge filter replacement for my black and decker. I lost mine when I washed it and air dry it outside. Is it possible to wet vacuum with HEPA filter? If not, do you have suggestions where to get sponge filter for wet vacuuming? Thank you!
Hi @North Star, it's not a good idea to use HEPA for wet vacuuming. A wet HEPA filter could allow mold to form. Because of the fine mesh of fibers in a HEPA filter, same with the dust bag, they take a long time to dry. You can try Amazon, I believe they have spare sponge that could fit your vacuum. No you not supposed to put in water. Efficiency will be halved. Just use vacuum and compressor.
Hi, 'Washable' hepa filters are safe to wash. Filters marketed as 'Permanent' shouldn't be washed as it can mess up the fibers. Just use vacuum or blower. Check your owner's manual for best result. Thanks.

@@DaveZacharyguardiario623 Yes, all filters are replaceable. HEPA filter should be installed at all times together with Dust Bag. HEPA filter is designed for general use and also for picking up small amount
of liquid. For large amount of liquid it is recommended to remove HEPA and use Sponge filter instead. Hope this helps :) , just let me know if you have other concerns.

Youre not even supposed to clean it with water!!
It's fine to wash it off if labeled as washable. If it's permanent, then you should vacuum it. In any case, hepa should be replaced at least every 6 months or depending on its usage. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, pls like & subscribe. Cheers!
Big mistake on my part. Using the vacuum while the filer was wet. Now the dirt is is stuck like glue.
