If one is new to crash tests, it is easy to confuse the damage of the vehicle with damage to the crash test dummy. We don't really care what the vehicle looks like. The uglier the better because it protects what is really important, the occupants inside.

well it is a lot safer since it is built on a much newer platform and yes a decade difference in safety tech
