On 29 December 2017 I published a video containing 3-star ratings for all the Mirror's Edge time trials on PS3, except for the DLC (which I didn't have). 4 and half years later, here it is; 3-star ratings for all Pure Time Trials, including the PS3 exclusive "Synesthesia". This video could help you with the 'Superstar' trophy/achievement for getting 90 stars.

I did the DLC for trophies on July 2021 but only today committed to making this video. It took me around 5 hours to do everything apart from Actino Rise. Actino Rise alone took around 2-3 hours (I hate that trial!). But at least I did it all in one sitting. I had a lot of trouble getting back my muscle memory, which is why my performance is so clunky in some trials. At least this shows that 3-star ratings leave some room for error, albeit very little.
I swear I'd seen a video with the Pure Time Trials already years ago (I remember it being in spanish), but it got deleted or privatized or something.
Situational tip: When Faith wallrun-kicks, the game creates solid ground under her feet for a split moment. Speedrunners use it to jump off it and travel further. While I didn't jump off it, I did use the wallrun kick to create solid ground. That ground means that Faith drops from a lower height, so you don't have to waste time rolling to avoid receiving damage. I did it in 3 moments
(5:13 9:25 9:53).

Chroma took me like 3.5 hours and it's not even that hard honestly. I choked so many times lol. This is going to be an insane journey.. thanks so much for making these guides i'd be 100% screwed without em
I’d love to see something like this for all the gold time trials in Downward (imagine Mirror’s Edge meets Mario 64).
Synesthesia is ps3 only which is a shame makes getting the superstar achivement harder with 96 available stars

I just finished my fourth playthrough of mirrors edge and I can't even get 3 stars on the normal time trials
it's about technique I remember I used to press L1 sideway jump for faster sprinting did a long time ago plat, but never bought the dlc now I am trying to 100% the game, it sucks because I have to relearn everything now until muscle memory kicks in xD
@@barbarapokorny5950 oh yeah I knew that if you jump sideways it will dodge the l1 sideways is technically used for dodging but now I got all time trials star 3
Just got 3 stars on 1st trail that double wallrun kept losing speed on it and messing up, now going for another trails

Late reply but stop playing through the story. The only thing that's gonna help u with time trials are the trials themselves.
I'm wondering, are you going for 50/99 stars for the platinum? Or 90/99 stars for the DLC trophy?

You have to purchase, download and install the Pure Time Trials DLC pack. If you did all of the steps and they still won't appear, I can't help you.
