So adorable! I've always been intimidated by these big vintage hairstyles so I never bothered to try, especially with short layered hair, and don't have enough patience with my hair to sit and try to manipulate it. This seems easy enough for me to try and I can't wait!! thanks much!
Thank you so much! I didn't realise when i had my hair cut short that my old method didn't work for short hair and I just found out while getting ready for a formal event and you just saved me. Pretty sure I'll watch more of your videos as soon as I come back because you seem like a fun person to watch.
I tried this last night(first time ever) for a 1940's themed event I went to. I was so pleased with my hair, AND myself that I actually pulled it off. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial!
I always thought you would be from the US - I was quite surprised to hear your sweet English accent! Your hair as you take your pin curls out makes me want to chop mine right off - it looks so gorgeous, an aqua Marilyn - LUSH.
Yay for a shorter hair Victory roll tutorial! I've lost a lot of hair over the past 18 months and I have to get it cut to about this length and was really worrying if I'd still be able to roll my hair. You've given me hope! Also, just a quick aside, I'm from Norwich back home but I've been living in the US (this time) for 8 years. People still don't always know what I'm talking about lol! Glad you've still got your accent :)
OMG, how do you keep your hair so astonishingly shiny with all those color changes? You have one of the most incredible hair I've ever seen!! Thanks for all your videos, I've been learning a lot!
It's nice to see a victory roll tutorial for someone with pretty short hair. I couldn't find any good ones when I was growing out my super short hair. I've never tried to pin my rolls from the back first either. I think I'm going to try it. Hopefully it will save me from messing up my roll when I pin it!
Oops meant to ask if your cut here is a middy? Just trying to work out what to ask my hairstylist for to make sure pin curls and rolls are easiest. Ta!
so cute!!! love love love it! im asian and ive copped my locks off. my problem is my hair always falls straight when i curl it.. any tips on how to texturize it other than the spray?
my hair is straight so heat techniques don't work, try a wet set and you'll be surprised how they last and curl straight hair like yours. it takes some time to get used and avoid frizz but it's worth it! good luck!
So lucky I found you! Cut off most of my hair and thought my vintage hair days were over - glad I was wrong :)

Surprise! Haha my accent has changed a lot but I'm glad ppl can still tell I'm from the UK :)
Great video ! I love how they turned out ! It isn't always easy to do rolls with layers in the front, but you make it seem so simple :) thank you !
I absolutely LOVE your short hair!!!
I love your hair color! You make this look so easy. I'm sure with practice, I'll get good enough to do this every day! Thanks so much for sharing!!
