Even till now, joy con drift is still a issue. I bought two new sets of joy cons for 70 fucking bucks.
2 years later, they start drifting.
Nintendo has done jack shit when it comes to this.

i bought one of those cheap repair kit for about 15$ to fix both of my drifting joycons. it was easy enough because all the tools were included but the fix only worked a week or so and i started having drifting issues again. i ended up just buying new ones. my wallet hurts now.

Wow! Sorry to hear that. I decided I’d never buy another pair of JoyCon. I just use third party controllers now other than my Pro Controller. Cheaper and works pretty well for me.
