I want to play test music in WIndows Media Player. How do I do that. If i use Virtual Cable, I am able to get the audio from Windows Media Player directly to Resolume. But how do I get the sound from Resolume to Speakers?
Hi Umesh, well resolume won't play audio as a "bypass", meaning that if U are playing the audio from windows media, U should get the audio output from there and not resolume, if U want to control the audio from resolume U should get the audio files inside resolume just as U do with video, keep in mind that resolume plays only a few audio codecs, not MP3 for example, wav is the best format I believe. Hope the answer helps :)
In Preferences, in the same place where you would set your audio input for external FFT, you can select your output audio device. personally i never found this to be 100% reliable so a hack i often use is to have an instance of OBS open and set the audio in advanced audio settings to be monitor
This is exactly what I was looking for! Are there other effects that take external audio as a source?
amazing tutorial!!! Thank you. Subscribed :)
