His voice is always pleasing, very unique, and I understand they want to choose songs that people recognize, but I found this to be a very poor choice.
The contestants themselves chose which song they want to perform. Some choose a song that means a lot to them, others to challenge themselves. Ina worked with him to loosen up a bit and she poked and «shaked» him while he was singing and he had to sing while laying on the floor. Getting him out of his comfort zone, believe in himself and deliver with emotions. I think it was a great song choice and obviously did the viewers too since he went through (so it couldnt have been that poor choice).

It was a great choice. And he sang it beautifully.
Unfortunately, he. has zero stage presence, but his voice is very lovely.
