After 30 rounds of pelvic radiation to treat stage 3 anal cancer last January, I found myself losing the ability to walk ever since July. I went from a cane to a walker and now a wheelchair and had 5 MRI's, and an EMG and was diagnosed with late onset lumbar sacral plexopathy. This has been very informative and greatly appreciated! I'm not giving up on walking again.
These are the best neurology lectures around :) I'm leaving a few notes/translations here, for revision: 2:01 Λαγόνιος μυς (iliacus muscle) 2:14 Μακρός προσαγωγούς του μηρού (adductor longus), θυροειδές νεύρο (obturator nerve) 3:38 Μείζον σαφηνές νεύρο (saphenus nerve) 13:10 No reliable L5 reflex, hamstring reflex hard to elicit 18:44 Σύνδρομο ιππουρίδας (cauda equina syndrome) ddx from 20:51 conus medullaris lesion (μυελικός κώνος) 23:17 Οπισθοπεριτοναϊκή αιμορραγία (retroperitoneal hemorrhage), 29:08 peroneal nerve (L5-S1) not affected, reference to 4:17 > *tiny* contribution from the L4 to the sciatic nerve (only supplies the tibialis anterior) 26:26 Βλάβη έξω μηροδερματικού νεύρου (lateral femoral cutaneous nerve)
