  • The SCREEDSAVER MAX takes screeding to a new level. This larger boom-extension screed integrates the technologies of the standard SCREEDSAVER II with the added features of front wheel drive and rear wheel steering, a 180-degree pivoting drive frame, and a 35 hp Diesel motor. MAX is also a wireless remote controlled screed that includes a labor-eliminating auger head 12.5' (3.8m) and a boom extension of 16' (4.9 m) resulting in screed rates up to 8,000 sq. ft./hour (743 m2) depending on site variables. Screed accuracy (FF/FL) is equal to or better than any screeding machine in the world.

Regarding the machine driving over already tied rebar: Are people generally tying the rebar, then laying it flat, then setting it up on the chairs when you get to that next 16' section?

You are correct - it is chaired as the machine passes over that section. It works well this way.
