...i respect Akon more and more everyday. He speaks smart...he thinks smart.. I live in Tanzania. I took similar position following Trumps speech abt Africa... ofcourse it aint the nicest of things to say.. but it should not take our focus away to try to respond or be angry. Africa is what is.. we are where we are.. partly because of history..mostly because of decisions we and our leaders are making each day. It doesnt take Trump to define us. Anyone can say anything abt Aftica...in my case Tanzania.. but the truth abt us will remain.
What bothers me the most about this is that we don’t even know if he really said it and if he said something similar what was the context. It was in a private meeting and the person that said he said it is Trumps enemy. The media just says it like it’s fact because they know nobody will look it up. The media is terrible and can no longer be trusted. It’s a shame. They want him out of office and will say anything to get him out. He paid for his own election so nobody can control him and they can’t stand it.
