    I first thought “what’s this kid know about women who are over 40,” but his points are solid!
    I’ve been reading and listening to a ton of podcasts on this subject, and this is great info! 🎉
    1. Do more weight workouts!2-3x a week at least.
    2. Add more protein. 100-120 a day at least.
    3. Too low calories for too long lead to your body becoming more efficient. Increase QUALITY calories (especially protein) . Steer away from processed foods. Whole Foods better.
    &
    I would add….support your liver!
    Lemon in the morning. Dandelion tea. TUDCA. Milk thistle. Find lots of videos on supporting your liver.

    I’m 17 a teenager and fasting for 30 days while going to the gym and it works

      Yea it’s gonna work. Your metabolism is still in good shape I’m assuming and the fasting just creates a calorie deficit daily.
      I am not a fan of fasting but if it works for you, you feel good, and aren’t going to gain the weight back then hey more power to you. Most people that do fast like that gain the weight back unfortunately

    when you start talking about blood glucose/insulin response to what you ingest along with Insulin Resistance and the science behind weight loss I might be more inclined to listen. This is the science. To start, see Ben Bikman: Why We Get Sick.

      I will check out Bikman, I like to look at all sides. Insulin response is science yes. Insulin is a hormone that gets released anytime we eat anything - yes carbs and sugars promote more of it - but when it comes to fat and fat loss insulin is just a mechanism. It doesn't paint the whole picture. Everything I talk about is also backed by science, I just don't talk about the science because the average person doesn't care about it - they just want to lose fat and I make that happen with these exact principles for all of my clients.
