I'M generally shy as well but one day I snapped and gave her a taste of her own medicine. From then on every time she tried, I was in her face. Eventually she left not just us but our then growing group of friends alone. After 8th we went to other schools and I never heard from my group again, HOWEVER in grade 10, guess who transferred to my school? Yep. And funnily enough she was polite and open with me enough so we became great friends.
I watched this all the time when it was on Netflix, it was even on my list. To this day I say that lym should've gone to the Olympics back in his day. He had the drive, talent and was a great sport to his opponents. What was done to him back then was wrong.

It’s a mistake in narration. Whoever beats the pro fighters beats the winner of the previous episode. It’s not always their friend/former rival. Also, they don’t have to beat the pro, just survive a few minutes
the idea of the show is absolutely amazing, why don't we have something like that in real life? I have health problems, but if I had a chance to get back at my bullies, I'll train like an olympic athlete, I'll quit smoking, I'll punch bricks and kick trees till either they or my bones break etc....
