I wish I had watched this video before I got into my project but nonetheless you did save me one step, because I was just about to bleach my table but now I think I'll just skip that step and finish mine with paint. I was having a hard time getting my table stripped with the oven cleaner as well. Thanks for the info and I hope my table turn out as beautiful as yours. 😊

There is a product called Citri-Strip. I've used it for years and it works wonderfully. You must use it generously. Works so much better than the trendy use of oven cleaner to strip wood! Try it and see!

I got the Kids Table that is identical to your table and the matching chairs ( it also seats just 4 ) and it is 20 years old and still going strong and looking beautiful. That was sturdy wood! Wonder what kind of pine it was? It looks really good painted and you learned a lot in the process. Your prints remind me of a look I want to try which features a moody look with books etc. So glad the sale is going well.. will see if any spa things left.🌻
Asking you and everyone to please continue to pray for us. Our air condition unit is still broken. We live on an extremely extremely tight budget in Southwest Tennessee. My hubby had a rollover accident in 2009 that he flatlined at and left him with a broken neck in 2 places, pinned knee, and shattered shoulder later on he got sepsis and died again, and he's now on oxygen 24-7 due to Covid damaging his lungs. I suffer from Crohn's and Osteopenia which makes it hard to work. I do have a Go Fund Me but not asking or begging for donations just please continue to pray for us. Thank you in advance. God Bless.

I'm just wondering why you didn't use regular stripper on that table, rather than all that trouble with oven cleaner.
Had to try the oven cleaner method. 😂 I’ve seen so many beautiful projects done with this method…just not ours… 😆
Every time I saw this done with easy off they put a very thick coat on it and covered it with plastic wrap
