Well, the reason for the Pacman theatre is because I was an amateur actor, who performed in quite a few plays with our local amateur drama group, the "Rotherham Rep"when we weren't busy doing Acorn game conversions, so of course our Acorn Archie conversion had to have a proper Pacman theatre! 😁
Ah, that's actually quite interesting now that you mentioned that since every other conversion is either based off of the European computer ports or the Arcade
I have this game on my Amiga 500, and it's one of my favorites, but i have to admit: the Acorn Archimedes version of that classic game is much better than i thought. Thanks for an awesome gameplay video. 😸🐈🕹️✌️👍😺
I think any version of this game that omitted any ghosts besides maybe the black common kinda sucks. I get it on the ZX Spectrum but not on this, or the amiga, or even the master system. The NES one has all the ghosts, why can't these? I'm sure they're still fun however
Looks like a good version - the visible play area isn't shrunk like the Atari ST version. Too bad the basic game it was based on wasn't exactly a good idea compared to the original Pac Man. Namco really struggled to come up with a worthy sequel to Pac Man ... arguably it wasn't until Pac Man Championship Edition that they finally had a really good Pac Man sequel.
3:09 I like how this version actually HAS a Pac-Man theater

@@shaunhwI had this on the C64. It was very good.
Classic pac man game. Remember kids in primary playing this at break time in the classroom!
Omg this takes me back. I could cry right now. Amazing ❤
Very powerful computer..shame the software houses didn't back it.
I remember playing this on the Archimedes at school. I had the C64 version at home. It's actually pretty good.

They weren’t lying when they said “Pac-Man Theater”

Okay so we're going to forget the amount of the new stuff brought into Pac Mania and Arrangement (1996)
It's isometric, pseudo 3D and Pac Man can jump. What else would you want back then???
Pacmania ❤️✅
i wish i could play this but im on mobile and acorn archimedes emulators are only on windows 😢
95% music in this version is a hand-me-down from Amiga
