Im not british, but when i hear SAS i know the job will be done ! British forces are the most professional and disciplined. From their uniforms too they stand out, they have the best uniforms.

It is true most special forces especially Nato special forces uses British SAS instructions. And again except USA and Turkey most of those special forces haven't got war experiences.

Book and movie deals are a fringe benefit of those who belong to the foremost elite. Its well earned. Its not even close to being as involved and demanding , much less comperable to amy other special ops

1. SEALs are not Soldiers they are Sailors
2. All Special Operation ground troops eg. SF, CCT, PJ, SR, MARSOC, SOJTAC go through drown proofing. A
SF does not do drown proofing during selection, maybe if you go for SF diver, but alot of guys who didn't or couldn't deal with water went SF or Ranger

Quick disclaimer for everybody Navy seals are not the only group that do drown-proofing in their training most units in the special operations command if not all have to go through drown-proofing

You learned from your parents, teachers, guys who trained you in your job etc...are you inferior then them because of this or maybe with enough experience (and Delta is now almost 50 years in Service) on a level with them ? Maybe even in some areas surpassing them ?
At a certain level you can´t say that this one is better then this one anymore.

The french forgein legion does the same "drownproofing" thing as the seals just with handcuffs and having to traverse a net maze later, if special forces are made special by something it isn't in their basic instruction course.
You forgot the English army, with the worlds best special forces.
Ps. Royal Marines Commandos, have the worlds longest training
English Army never heard of them.
World's best? Far from it. There's several detachments that are better than the SAS. DEVGRU specifically is definitely better than the SAS, Israel's SF and India's northern command will both have some of the best fighters on this planet. no other countries will have as much experience and understanding in counterinsurgency and in Israel's case, urban warfare.
The SAS isn't as good anymore. The *British military doesn't operate as often anymore and has lost its touch.

Russian Spetsnaz usually wants you to know that your Comrade is your brother in blood, same with other Special Forces, but Spetsnaz just takes this to the next level. Imagine just drawing a gun to your buddy, and just knows that if you do something wrong- everything will go wrong.

In the Philippine Scout Rangers, you cannot graduate if you hadn't been in a real war. That's why the students are deployed to hunt and engage in a real encounter fight with local terrorist group to prove they're worthy to graduate. And rarely it ends in almost half of the students having posthomous awards during graduation.
Do not forget the Hubert commando which does not make lace as well as the SBS and the SAS.

I don't mean to sound like thepecking hen, but the army people are referred to as soldiers the Marines are referred to as Marine the seals are referred to as seals it's not a good idea to refer to a sailor or Marine as a soldier especially the Marine Corps, those guys take a lot of pride in becoming a Marine they don't like to be mislabel

Its especially designed, and issued to be, and that is what separates the men from the rest. Nobody hies harder that infantry Marines, and SEAls, they are frontline, stand ready, top list on the (stuff is going down) call list.
The world, and other branches dont recognize, but the Dept. Of the Navy is the backbone of our miltary. Operate in all facets, all the time 24/7 365 front lime first response. Carrier battle groups airwing, operate constantly as wartime/ hotzone conditions. Nobody stands at the ready like the elites

Intense training like ggk survive in a swamp for 1 week eating nothing but monkeys, snails and lizards or paskal holding breath in a deep pool for minutes and Paskau navigate in the jungles for days

I'm really disappointed to not see the SAS mentioned in this video. It's literally what American Special Forces were modeled after. Especially Green Berets. Also the Gurkhas and French Foreign Legion.
French Foreign Legion is not a special force. Commando Marine (navy), 1er RPIMa and 13eme RDP (army) and CPA (Air Force) are the French special force units.

@@lukelyon1781 hey, no big deal :) people generally do not know much about the French SF. As much as I know and understand, they seem quite good. You could probably compare the Commandos Marine to the SEALs or the SBS. 1er RPIMa takes its roots in French SAS (yes there were French SAS) during WW2, so the comparison is quite obvious with the British SAS. 13eme RDP is more like a in depth recon unit. They have very unique technics of penetration and camouflage in enemy territories. CPA are … special forces, depending on Air Force command. But they can all operate together or separately under the French Special Ops Command. The army has even a helicopters rgt dedicated to special ops. To my knowledge only USA and UK have the equivalent in terms of special ops command.
