As a Swede, i did not like the fact that those french people were so goddamn french, sending you on a french goose chase for something french. Also, that's not a swedish fika, that's a french hustle 😂
The people you talked to on the bench were French and they recomended a French bistro and the waitress in the bistro who was also French recommended another French place🤣
Great video! Lilla caféet på Söder is probably my favorite coffee place in Stockholm but I haven't been there in ages, so I definitely gotta remedy that. I haven't been a bunch to Loch Ness but, yeah, that's a real cozy one too. And I will be checking out Bistroteket in the near future, so you sure influenced this local Stockholmer to try something new.
No kolonilott isn't like coloni lottery as that guy said. Lott in Swedish means a small plot of land. So for people living in an apartment still can have their own little oasis and grow some veggies or a place to just sit outside on your private piece of land.
@@helenlayley That being said, actually getting an allotment garden patch (with a small shed/house) in Stockholm is a lot (sic) like winning the lottery ;)
I really wish the sound was a bit better, I figure it's recorded with a phone, maybe for future if the budget is there, investing in some proper equipment might be a good idea! Good video nonetheless, enjoyed watching it
Me too.the better audio was actually recorded with a phone, they were new mics that didn't work with my DSLR camera. It's a bummer. Thanks for watching and sticking with it!
Seems like a great experience! Surely there are places the 'locals' would deem superior, but good on you for not falling into those tourist traps! (The Vasa museum would have been worth it though 500% ;) )
Lott, in that context, actually means piece of land. And it wouldn't mean Lottery anyways, more like a Ticket (that would make it possible to win the lottery)
You guys are awsum
Wow, thank you so much! Thanks for watching.

What are the odds lol
Thanks for visiting Stockholm and it was a great idea to take tips from locals :D thats the way to do it!
It was a lot of fun, thanks for watching

Thanks! I really enjoyed our time at Lilla cafeet, and the owner was incredibly nice!

It seems like an amazing idea. So beautiful
Tänkte på det med, är roligt när svenskar överskattar sin språkförmåga ibland.
It's an allotment in English! A lot as in a piece of land, not a lottery.

Good idea for a video! Very cool
Thank you for watching!

What kind of phones do you think people have? Phone mics are great.
You find the best local pub in Stockholm. My favourite!
Yes! It was great, thanks for checking out my channel.
This is good travel content! Edit and quality is a problem but great stuff!
Thank you! I think I finally have the quality figured out after this one. Looking forward to always improving and making better content

I have heard great things about the vasa museum. The best part of this experience, was there was no need to plan anything! We just went with the flow

Thanks for the clarification!
Colony lottery? :D I think allotment would be a better translation
That makes sense, thanks!
😂 left you hanging on that ✋
You sure did
great video!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it
ur vids rock
Woah, thanks so much!
Professional content, bad material :/ invest in cameras + mics and you'll be alright :D
Thanks! I agree, I didn't like how the audio came out on that one, bought a new mic as soon as I got home!
Glad it worked out asking people. Many swedes are not foodies and can recommend pretty bland places :D
Luckily everyone has a great suggestion
@@DoesntPayFullPrice if you ever get to Vasastan I can help you out :)
Looking forward to it
Calm down... for fuk sake..
Oh
stockholm is kind of crappy, It’s like Moscow except it’s smaller, pretty dumb and generally upside down and on the wrong side of history.
I thought it was a great city
This is a brave venture as swedes don't generally talk to strangers. Try asking on Instagram or Facebook in advance next time.
Haha I didn't know that going into it. Next time I think I might do an online poll. Thanks for watching!
