The middle of a lake and the momma moose came into the water after us to steer us away protecting her baby near by. Scary, yet beautiful. Hope y’all give us a tour soon. 😊

So happy for you all! My husband and I bought a motel cabin once (300 sq feet) and lived in it for a year before adding on to make it 500 sq. feet. We enjoyed every bit of it, all the challenges and solutions we came up with. I can see you all being as happy doing it as we were! Bless you all! You've got a lovely home!

@malinandtom Now, when you brought up this moose encounter thing, my most exciting encounter was when I once laid under a canoe in the middle of the night and woke up to the ground shaking. After opening the sleeping bag and looking out into the darkness, I see something big coming rushing towards me! It was a huge moose that jumped over the canoe and threw itself into the lake behind the canoe! It was a little hard to fall back asleep after that.

I'm so happy for all of you and what a view! We definitely are a lot alike because I would love to live in a place like that with the view you have. The wildlife was incredible and that moose was huge.
That's so fun, I gotta admit I teared up a bit when you hugged on the porch. I would recommend you install FTX ventilation before starting any renovations even though it's a bit pricey. I did the installation myself and I'm not a builder at all. Forced ventilation will make a huge difference to the indoor air.

Many years ago I visited family in Sweden and found it so much like where I live, moose (although have never seen 4 at a time😮), deer, forests and lakes and beautiful WINTER. Even your new cabin,/house is something you would find here😅 . It will be a fun, rewarding journey for you. 🙃🥰
