@@christopherwestpresents Greetings to you. I wonder if you would do a video on “ Minimalist “ Art. I look at a lot of “ Minimalist “ photography and find that they really have no idea what that term means, invariably use a dictionary explanation of absence of content as the meaning of Minimalism: it’s not . I understand that it is an elusive term and difficult to understand, but cheeses don’t just make up an interpretation. Sorry, just find it frustrating because the longer the idea is used in this way the more the real meaning gets lost.
@@johnconn982 I love the minimalists and need to talk more about them!
@@christopherwestpresents can’t wait to read your thoughts on Minimalism, thanks JC
Thanks for the introduction to a compelling artist.
So glad you like him. Thank you!
Loved the video, loved the artist, hated the art.
Low effort dishonesty celebrated by art investors is not my cup of tea.
I do abstract art too, and trust me, it is low effort caleidoscope simulation
Fair enough take. Do you mean using a broom is low effort? I don’t see much difference between that and a brush.
@@christopherwestpresents I mean using a few strokes to create a collection of paint stains in minutes of work, time after time again.
I get it when it is done once.
When it becomes a style, this is just NFT monkeys variation, the "is ye oldie" version.
