''it was supposed to be a regular house, but yeah....I got carried away'' classic lol
Always !
Not surprised, lol.
As the builder of the group, loving this update
Oh man now i want to build a gothic castle 😁 amazing build mate!
You should!
I’ve been itching to see a video from you showcasing the new build pieces. Your builds are always magnificent! Great work.
Did I hear you say rustic? And Mrs. V in the house! That was awesome! Marvelous as always V, seriously. You build art with valheim.
I appreciate you staying positive, yet still making note of the missing parts and issues with these new pieces.
I wish the textures looked less like plastic and more like stone, but this still looks amazing.
I didn't expect the 100d tease to get thrown in😅
what 100d? 😅🤐
@@Versaugh I think he meant that there are a lot of "teases" of Valheim on Yt, and that's nice, because Valheim is actualy a great game, even more one of the greatest!
awesome build, love the front always
wow the use of those stools is genius!!
1:50 The repeating texture can be broken up by rotating the wall 180 degrees from time to time.
Good job. I will look at fixing randomness to the Gråsten textures
I'm a big fan of how you don't turn the gravity off for these builds. A lot of people build hovering around and the end result can be good or bad but practically speaking some of the stuff they do is pretty much impossible from angles you can actually accomplish
Love your videos. When i am looking for inspiration for builds, i always come here.
Oh, it's beautiful. I can't wait for the update and to frolic my vuilding addiction. And I can't wait to see your creations. I had really fun recreating these.
OMG this looks so good and smooth and aaaaaaaa, I had the same reaction as you lol. I'm ready for the update and ready for you building videos I love, maybe new village in ashlands challenge?
Cheers
Wow. That is a perfect specimen for demonstrating how these pieces should get used. Amazing
Just.. daymn!
Impressed with your skills and dedication to this build! Very nice.
Now.. need a downloadable blueprint. I don't have that kind of attention span. Wonderful build!
I didn't realize how much I missed your valheim videos! The best to ever do it. Well done! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing job. Can't wait to see what else you come up with given time :)
This has me so excited to mess around with the new build pieces! Amazing build!
Love how even though you don't have to, you still build scaffolding. Makes the buildings process look more natural. 👍
Jesus, are you an architect irl? Insane build as always.
Love this speed-build genre of video too, really compliments your commentary!
Looks amazing! I'm glad the new building pieces work so well with your techniques and experience. Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
That is absolutely stunning! I can not wait to meet the new building types!
These new materials look SICK! Great showcase and storytelling, Versaugh! Can't wait to get back to Valheim eventually and check everything out!
Can't wait to see what you come up with!
I’m sooo looking forward to the final build of the game it is looking so damn good
I was wondering what wonders builders could do with the new Ashlands pieces. Now I have the answer with just one attributive: gorgeous.
Just AWESOME !!! 👏 Thank you for your uploads! 🙏
Glad you like them!
The level of detailing is awesome
You’re super talented and have a great imagination.. love the build.
I really like it. Could you make a video tutorial on how to build and decorate the interior of that house?
This build is sick. Very nice.
Thanks for the update and sharing the awesome new build. The best bit was Mrs. V. Lol
So beautiful, you never disappoint man! I love it!
Can the bell that summons the boss be placed other places as well? If so, that'd be cool up in the top that looks like a bell tower.
Somehow, after 600+ hours playing Valheim and being annoyed by the snapping points of the small wooden door messing up my wall placement, I never thought to use it as a temporary placement for more advanced building. This is what I love about Valheim videos such as yours, I always find new creative building methods that I had never even considered before.
Once you get the real hang of it, a video of ALL the tips and tricks you've learn would be so much appreciated.
Off to a great start with this one already _(like the corner two-piece roof combination at __3:25__)_
Greystone pillars stability seems weak, for me at least, can't pile more than 3 before they break, maybe it's a bug I don't know.
I hope I don't have to play with "insert Iron pole" anymore, as I try to not cheat my buildings.
how is it you improve with your builds? i always feel like theres more i could do with my builds and never feel satisfied...
those new pieces with there smooth faces and hard edges somehow have something really borderlandish to them! 0:14
This would be so good for adding masuleums to your graveyard build
outstanding man, cant wait till the update goes live
Cant wait for some build tutorials
Ahhh finaly some gothic build blocks! Awesome build!
It doesn't feel like Viking with those smooth new modern build pieces
I've not seen anyone mention this, but personally I would have liked the new marble to have more texture on it, it looks far too "fake" or "plasticy" in my personal opinion. Even some shine on it or some more textured subtle bumbs and cracks (not actual 3d model bumps or anything) would do wonders, and it would help it fit in better with the artstyle of all the other previous build pieces
This partially goes for the new wood pieces too
EDIT: Just watched the part of the video where he mentioned he and his friends aren't a fan of the repeating texture 😂
yeah you're right the texture of the new building looks flat and plastic. i mentioned it on valheim's discord server and people seemed to not like the texture too because it looks like plastic
what a quality content. Subscribed!
Beautiful ❤️ I wish I could build like you do
I would love to see a in depth video on how to make this
Omg I need this unlocked already on my multi-player server ❤
Ngl konda pissed he didnt tell us how to protect pur wood from rain
Just need a roof over wood floors if that's what you were wondering.
Shield generator.
Ashwood and black marble is a beautiful combo
I don't know if I am emotionally prepared for the amount of retrofitting and remodeling I'm going to need to do for my town and castle....
They really hit this one out of the park. LOVE the new building pieces.
I can see the cathedral builds with these new pieces
With extra civility, I fkn love your builds
I found the snap points kind of fiddly and was a little underwhelmed but I'm sure that's partly because I'm new to the material and partly because I was trying to modify an existing building
that is a beautiful build, thanks for sharing. you have an incredible talent for that.
Thank you very much!
Great build and detail 😊. Now we can make a nice gothic church and raid it with all the vikings on the server. Lindisfarne 2.0
Haven't played valheim in a while, but honestly these new build pieces go hard!
weird question, can you build brutalist architecture in this new update?
Can you please make a tutorial on how to make this details? I am trying to recreate your build but even 0.25 speed I don't understand how do you make them (((
Dammit I would love to see more mod builds. Being able to rotate all pieces in a million different angles adds so much more versatility. I wish the devs would add the “comfy gizmo” mod
Question: is floor 1x1,2x2 or 4x4?? We are having real trouble trying to duplicate the door trick set up. The regular stone columb seems also to be off set back and to the right. Other questions to but I hope to hear back before I spend time writting the rest. Thanks for the tutorial.
i used the 1x1 floor. are you trying to recreate the doorway?
@@Versaugh we are improvising the arch ways at 1:15 and making them windows by removing the grey stones you laid down first, In going thru the video frame by frme there are a few things unclear about the door snap trick. it looks like grey stone blocks are offset from the floor grid, hard to explain without being able to point at things...lol
You can build Saxon Houses with those New Building Blocks now.
As homelander would say perfect perfect in every way down to the last detail
With this update, its no wonder you got carried away. Great build as as always
maybe we can coat our exterior wood with honey to waterproof it like a beeswax coating
hehe nope, it is a machine that give you a protective bubble
Do you use any mods to help with building? If so is there a place where I could see the mod list?
I didn't use any mods for building this is pure vanilla
ashland update looks epic soo far soo much new stuff hope it comes soon to live game
There is maybe one problem, when you enter ashland to get the Grausten, the game is nearly over and why should i build anymore houses then.
How can I protect my wood objects from the rain?
Oh yeah totally building the Dreadfort in the Mountains with that.
Thats amazing, so beautiful 😮
When Ashland comes to official servers, do i have to start new journey or will it upload somehow on existing save ?
you can use your existing
Completely agree. The Ashlands is a fantastic new biome with a challenge. The new build pieces are great too!
How to turn it on because I don't have this option in the game?
damn that house looks sick AF
Very great new build pieces, but they look too smooth for valheim in my opinion
totally understand where you are coming from, but try to look beyond the smoothness and try to see how you can make the best of it by mixing it with the old one, I have loads of ideas that I am looking forward to trying 🙂
Welcome back 😁
What is the first background song? :o
Damn, that build is *crisp*
Желаю много подписчиков тебе)
i love the modern look! yes!
I hope a modder makes new buildables more dark like ashlands biome ud expect dark colour peices to build dark fantasy style.with blacks and reds
Please bring a tutorial for this house!!
sooo good.. well done. veee - lol at take out the rubbish.. - i mist the bins this week sigh.. no room in recycling bin again. keep missing bins. mm.. vee can u drag my bins up mount Everest for me ples. (my driveway)
😆
Ashlands has worsened my mental health drastically
I SO look forward to the adventures and all in ashlands, I just personally am not (yet) a fan of the new pieces. Looks kind of too smooth. The charm of the low-resolution graphics of valheim is how the excellent light mechanics hits the uneven surfaces and brings it to life.
BUT I might be speaking too soon, and appretiate all the work the creators put into this anyways!!
wake me up when a Versaugh build misses
it's looking to clean xD but let's see what we can do with that
what u use to get a infinite resources?
I really hope they patch the repeating texture on the new stone
Something tells me we’re gonna see a lot of gothic cathedrals in the next few weeks lol.
Grausten is probably "Gråstein". Norwegian for grey stone
"Like playing a different game" - yeah, that's actually what I'm kinda afraid of, that Valheim won't feel like the Valheim I love so much anymore ... The new build pieces look great and all but, to me, they don't have that "Viking" kind of feeling anymore. That awesome new house you bilt got more of a medieval/cathedral kind of feeling to it and I'm not sure I like that (I mean, I love the house you built, it's awesome - it just doesn't feel like Valheim anymore, to me).
Impressive as always
More videos like this please 👌
I was so excited for this update until I actually landed and got thrown in a mosh pit of hell
😭😂
Put my efforts to shame, that "house"! Beautiful doesn't do it justice. It's proper gothic and really impressive! 👍
