Brother DT has the heart of a true servant. He mastered the art of seeing people through God’s eyes and being the hands and feet of Jesus. He has the gift of not letting theology get in the way of loving people but instead modeling what a Christ centered life could and should look like. Thank you so much for sharing, truly a humbling reminder and an inspiration 🙏
Such great idea to let people see all that the Friars so happy so generous so loving. Many young men we see and join all of you to serve God and His people of all colors and creeds as well as their problems.Blessings upon each one who walks in that door.GOOD HEALTH AND JOY TO YOU ALL.
Thank you for not only the work you do, Brother Tandy, but for the love with which you give and take from the Holy Spirit. Truly you are an example of living in the Trinity.
I especially appreciate this video for several reasons. It originates from my beloved San Francisco, and, not unlike the friar, my own, second career, though secular, was one of service to the people of and in the city. I am very familiar with the formidable problems of the Tenderloin. I am very familiar with the laudable and necessary mission that has been undertaken by the Franciscans out of St. Anthony’s for all the decades I have been around there. St. Anthony’s is best understood as a kind of light house. Finally, I often walk past the Church and nod my respect (seeing as we are past the age I can tip a hat). I shall view this video several times over.
Hi, peace and goodness. You're seeking for inner healing. There are several catholics inner healing workshops online ( specially right now) where you can learn to know yourself and to find God in yourself and in your history . So i really hope you find healing in Holy Spirit. Remember that is a process and there are phases, so you must be patient. God bless you ✌
Great video. From the country where I am from considering your facility and the service that you provide to the needy surpasses any of our hotels here.
❤️ Hi Fr. Casey. Even though the Church hasn’t made a pronouncement against yoga it doesn’t mean it’s perfectly fine. Most people ignore the fact that yoga is a spiritual practice from hinduism. All the postures are meant to invoke different spirits. If you’re just stretching it’s a different story... but no Catholic should engage in such spiritual practices.
Most people ignore the fact that modern yoga, as seemingly practised by the friar in this video, was invented less than 100 years ago. It is just Indian style gymnastics or calisthenics or stretches. Aside from sharing the word "yoga" it shares no context with the huge range of other things in Hinduism called yoga. The belief that this thing Westerners call "yoga" is a ancient spiritual exercise is a false belief promoted largely by New Agers and yoga teachers. They do this either in ignorance (most probably do wrongly believe it is an ancient spiritual practice) and/or as a deliberate effort to appeal to modern society's desire for shopping mall style anything goes religion. But what this friar is doing is fine. If yoga was unchristian you might as well say that Father Casey can't run for exercise because ancient Greeks used to run in sports festivals to honour Zeus and Appollo. Or bowing to the Host or altar is wrong because heathens bowed to idols. Same physical action, different inward meaning. For all we know, every time this friar bends he is praying "I bow to you Lord Christ", everytime he stretches up "I raise my hands to praise you Heavenly Father", every time he inhales "I fill my being with you Holy Spirit". Every motion of his physical exercise, every second of his tending with mercy to the body he was given for use in service of his fellow man so that he can give more service, is become an act of worship. How Christian is that!
This is my favorite series of your videos. It truly shows the Franciscan life. Glad you brought it back. Also, this is my third request asking if you will have ordination cards and how can we get one. Please respond!
Very inspiring!

I’m so happy I came across this series. I’ve been binging all of them haha. Thank you for your ministry and holy priesthood, Fr. Casey
My fave series 💜
Love getting to see behind the scenes of his humble life! What a beautiful way to serve Jesus.
Thank you for not only the work you do, Brother Tandy, but for the love with which you give and take from the Holy Spirit. Truly you are an example of living in the Trinity.
Beautiful🙏
Thank You Lord for the works of the Franciscans!
Haha, I work with an elderly person with dementia who does that as well, tying things up. They'll just sit in their chair and tie or wrap stuff up.

Thank you. We need to be exposed to the good men can do and do do for the love of God. God bless you all.
How can one get stronger in their faith when they have too many scars and wounds from past experiences?

Thanks! Sorry I didn't see the earlier ones. No, there will be no ordination cards. Sorry about that.
What's with the yoga Brother Casey, kind of contrary to what we are told by the Church. How do I explain it if I want to share the video.
.🙏.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
isnt yoga not approved by Church?
There has been no such pronouncement. Yoga is perfectly fine.
