Hi, Thanks for this info it's really useful. I am planning on attempting the London classic and need to find somewhere to do swim training. I think that you may be quite local to me I am in Maidstone. Can you tell me where you did the open water swimming in Kent please?
Also if you are Maidstone then look at Leybourne Lakes. In my opinion St Andrews is cleaner as there are less wildlife. Both about the same price to swim.

Hi Andrew I did a lot of swimming at St Andrews Lakes in Halling. There is also open water swimming at Hangloose in Bluewater too.
