The sheer fact you can have a moment of escapism with these videos is fantastic thing. The work that goes into any of the magnificent super vessels is something to appreciate. I did plan on buying one but someone else decided they deserved the £170 million Euro win more than me!
Such a stark contrast between these two yachts. Similar lines but Veni Vidi Vici is much more classy and elegant. Plus it goes 37 knots vs the 32 knots of Neoprene which is really impressive considering its 130 vs 108. However the €1,995,000 vs €5,500,000 is a much better on the wallet.
Neoprene has this cool GTA vibe to it. But honestly; I think the black exterior is problematic in the hot mediterran sun. Also; the fact that it's asking price was quite low for a yacht of it's class, in combination that it only got sold earlier this month shows that was not that desired, despite really standing out.
This guy does the best videos of any yacht tours, the way he talks and presents things is perfect. It could come across as BS when he talks about all yachts with the same enthusiasm except hes talking about yachts and it doesn't really matter how big it is if its your kind of yacht your gonna enjoy yourself, I think the way he presents the yachts helps bring that out and emphasize that its not about the boat as much as it is how you will enjoy it. He clearly loves yachts and I hope he keeps making these videos.
Each video has its own presentation, its own emotion, its own life. Many thanks for the work done. This is not a presentation but a small film that must make some advertising jealous who call themselves professional. Thank you David for these little jewels.
Not gonna lie that intro was pretty awesome. Again, awesome presentation and editing as always! I always dream that someday I’ll have the money to buy a yacht like this and relax my days away in the sun in paradise.
Great video again David Thank you. You are the most inspired yacht sales man on the web. Good luck with the sale. Gives you a lot of inspiration to buy her.
Awesome video again! If this were the kind of boat I wanted, you definitely would have made me want this boat. I just happen to have a different idea of how to enjoy the water; but if I were in this market, it wouldn't be for long. You do such a great job of showing the particular intentions and even compromises that should be taken into account when selecting a vessel to match a lifestyle.
It would be interesting to know more about building a custom yacht. What are the engineering and customization costs for different sized vessels like? How long does it take for a team of architects to develop a custom design with unique features? And how about renting a shipyard etc. A video about that would be really interesting :)
MH0709 Maybe if you want one of these marina queen type boats, but I'm pretty sure you can get custom built steel and aluminum expedition type yachts if you're willing to wait longer and pay more.
Great video as always, amazing intro ! ;) I'm usually not a fan of Mangusta but I have to admit the interior design on this one is pretty spectacular !
For the Mangusta's to be on the "cheaper" side of the spectrum, they're honestly my favorite.. I just love the slick styling. I'm only 25 right now, I WILL own a Yacht in my life time. Hell, by the time I'm ready to retire, these would be cheaper, and stuff in these price ranges would be even more extravagant.
There are shabbier houses in the expensive spots, and those don't go nearly as fast unless you do something very, very wrong.Honestly, when I win the lottery and David presents something in the 60 to 80 ft range for less than two m, I'll meet him.
@Lucas Danic Finally someone on these comment threads who actually ' gets it'. So many sad, hopeless dreamers talking about " When " I win the lottery. Like ' when ' would that be? Tomorrow, next week, next year, or 10.or even twenty years from now?? And how much?? A million, ten million, twenty million?? It's all so vague. At least throw that thought out into the Universe to give it some power. In the meantime, you might want to try actually ' working ' for it and not rely on someone or something else to make you rich. That old adage still rings true as we're about to conclude the first 20 years of the new millennium: The harder ( and smarter ) you work, the richer you'll become.
@Lucas Danic I honestly believe everyone knows they won't win some grand superpot, but SAYS "if I win" in a way to cope with the misery of never being able to put money into a big luxury -anything-. And on that note, most people have to put their hard earned money into things like family home, day-to-day costs, college fund for kids, 401k, travel to see family, and hundreds of other things during their lifetime. So any investments with possible high payoff is very low on the list, and any lottery prize is the only way to dare dreaming of a big yacht. So give people a break, there's no need to bash their comments like that.
I guessed around 5 million. It would be an awesome vessel to entertain clients. The camera work in this video and editing made this yacht tour stand out from the other standard tours.
Fantastic video as always. I’ve got to hand it to you, your in a league of your own when it comes to presenting these. The ones from YCO etc, are just flat and wooden compared to you. You’re a true master at your trade.
I have an Italian buddy that has one of these type boats. Been on it a couple of times. It does go really fast when you want. The boat is actually huge inside. I was amazed . A very fun boat. He paid quite a fortune for his. But he is richer than I both in looks and cash. His ego is of course high art .
i think you would agree, and to be honest there are two kind of super yachts, one built for speed and low range like the Mangusta and the Sunseeker Predator and one built to cruise and enjoy the surroundings like a Benetti 125 fast. It would be a good video to make and truly explain the real difference and practicality dependant of what your looking for.
I know what you mean, Iv'e seen emails from many a wealth husband, to visa/mastercard, asking if they can widen the item cost total column as its not wide enough. Is that something you're experiencing?
Mangusta Maxi Open yachts NEVER cease to amaze me! They are just gorgeous! Also, The name of the yacht roughly translates to: "We came, we saw, we kicked its ASS!" --Bill Murray, "Ghostbusters"
I am SOOOOOOO in love with the interior, not to speak about the yacht itself. For me, Mangusta and Pershing are the top of the list for the Sports Yachts. This size would be the ideal size i can imagine. Easy to get into every port and not a handful to drive. What was the crew size on VVV at the time of shooting the vid?
Look at the speed. Its fascinating to see a big ship like this with super fast speed and and its hovering on the water but inside you feel nothing. 🤩🤩 32 knot speed is enough. But 37 knots. Woof.... Damn sporty!! 😰😰 Watchout your head swimmers and fisherman. 😜😜 Front look design is also spectacular. 👌👌
If a cargo ship plows out of port, everything rock'n'rolls some, even catamarans -- after all, we're talking boats. From the deep low frequency waves on a clearly calm sea-state, that's what it looked like was happening. Shallow-draft high-speed monohulls like this will inevitably feel it, just like a Ferrari reacts to road dips and contours on land. Like the Ferrari, it's also designed to run smoother when going fast, and to take the pressure. This is why deep-V hulls are still popular with people who don't like "the motion of the ocean." You can even add ballast and stabilizers and such to make it steadier at anchor, but all that doubles or triples the depth required for passage, and literally drags your speed down to 17 knots instead of 37. It's all physics, and how you choose to compromise for what you want the most. There's no danger of actually flipping this from any normal wave system. For one thing, it's still a huge boat, and built relatively low and wide and lighter on top. It could ride out a rogue roller wave its own length tall. Sure, you might finally spill that wine, but you'd come down the other side with the proper side up. Even a full-size cruise liner might not fare so well. Anyway, these super yachts, spacious as they are for personal craft, are just a couple hundred tons, like fishing bobbers when sitting still compared to a 300-meter 200,000 ton commercial ship going by. Those things make displacement wakes that can wash out your sand castle from the horizon line away. Oh, my poor childhood sand castles! :)
animist channel ...jeez, you sure like to go on and on. Try keeping your comments a bit shorter. There is obv a trade of performance to stability but at some point you have to consider comfort too. There were no big cargo ships creating roll here.
6:52 how did that drone not go down? Great presentation as always, but why did you leave out shots of the crew quarters, engine room, and tender garage? It's like showing off a house, but forgetting to show the basement or backyard.
Its amazing to think that the SS United States a 990 ft cruise ship from 1951 still holds the speed record for crossing the Atlantic ocean at an average speed of almost 36 knots with 244,000 shp pushing the 53,000 GRT forward.

Who cares about the speed.....The longer it takes to get to my destination the better....I’m in no rush.....it means more time enjoying my yacht!

Thanks for your comment. On an ocean crossing or transfer trip crew would stow loose items. Generally owners will use a yacht like this in calmer seas. I should add, that crew will also stow loose items if the owner wants to travel at speed!
