Thank you for sharing your experience. I went to Bucerias as well back in February while staying in Puerto Vallarta for 3 1/2 months. Bucerias is such a charming small town with beautiful beaches and very short driving distance by bus from PV. Highly recommended to visit this gem for a full day of exploration.

Thanks for watching! Definitely explore the area, it's beautiful, friendly and lively and peaceful at the same time. From the Riu Palace, it should only be a little over 20 minutes to get into Bucerias on the nice path and greenway - it's such a beautiful walk!!
Nicely done video. Low key but good quality. Thanks, Next video, include the Sunday Farmers Market on the river bed. They have done a lot of updating in the last year, and we get most of our fresh fruits, vegetables and BBQ chicken. Even bought a new glass jar for the blender when we broke ours.
I will definitely stop and look around some more I stopped at bucerias for lunch at a local restaurant . on my way to LA cruz a few miles north next town over

I'm a huge horse & dog person - looks like they allow both which is fun. ;) I'm really curious about Bucerias as its coastal from where I have a house in the interior (Lake Chapala.) I'm finally down here more full-time & this month (May) was extremely hot and I've been dreaming of the beach. I think PV itself might be a bit too hectic & also $$$$ for me, curious about this close by alternative. Looks like a fun community there! Are the bugs bad? One thing we are very lucky not to have too much of is bad mosquitos even though it's semi tropical.
Ooo I've heard amazing things about Lake Chapala! I haven't visited Bucerias in the summer months, so I'm not sure about the bugs. However, I've visited in November, February and April and didn't really notice many bugs, and definitely not mosquitos. But it could be different in the warmer, hotter more humid months. The beach in Bucerias is far better than the main beaches in PV though!

Hello! Happy I fou d your video, We’re going in 2 weeks.. actually at the Decameron (we have a 2 and 4 yo). Would you mind telling me if there is any drugstore close by or somewhere i can buy diapers? It would be fun if i didn’t have to pack a ton of them and just buy there 😅
Yes! There are at least 2 Farmacias (pharmacies) within less than a 5 minute walk from the Decameron, and they have diapers. Not all pharmacies have the same products and stock though, so if you don't find the brands/types you want at the first one, just go to the next one. They've also got medication, sunscreen, everything.
