- Drain cables are a very important piece of equipment while you are cleaning a drain or sewer line. With proper care of your sewer snake, a drain cable will last for several drain cleaning jobs. Duracable shows how to properly clean and oil cable which keeps it going while you are on the job and helps prevent cable failure.

@@DuracableMan Do you do any affiliate marketing? We are at almost 100.000 views on our channel
So how do you clean it?
Thank you thank you I was wondering how to lube that cable.. someone said use butter.
Good video and I agree 100 percent.
Why would you make a video like this about oiling the cables then NOT say what kind of oil you recommend and keep the bottle turned so we can't even figure it out for ourselves???
Chainsaw oil will do.
Probably because the oil is called snake oil 😂😂. One brand is called : snake oil plus.
@@thebigmann81 What if we don't have snake oil? Any other type we can substitute for it?
@@globalchaos1984 mineral oil works good. Or wd40 in a pinch
ya i know right that annoys the f out of me... i used motor oil 0w20 i had extra from doing my car.
God I hope your cables last more than "several Jobs" you guys may have a good product , and I appreciate the effort but its of little help the video and the voice sounds computer generated
What oil I can use
To clean your drain cables, use any type of rust inhibitor like LPS or WD40. Ridgid also makes a great cable oil that we like.
@@DuracableManyou know, at first I was annoyed you didn’t list which oil to use, etc but then I see the damn first few comments are EXACTLY THAT lol
Olivia oil last for ever
