Reminds me of the time when i participated in a game jam as the only developer on the team. Spent 30/40 hours working on it, and somehow managed to make a decent game. Only to go to present it and realize we needed a laptop to actually demo the game, so we couldn't present it (assumed we could just use the campus pcs).. It was super fun though still. I ended up making the executive decision to just make all state management in my game global with singletons. Since we were only working on the game for a couple days, it wouldn't really matter how maintainable the code was. (Or wasn't )
That was so fun to watch, couse recently I also attempted with my team to hackathon, I slept like 5 hours in 50 hours window and this exhoustion on the end was so rel XD Gratz 1st place!
The first time i knew about hackathon was when i watched the k-drama START UP and now i can't watch your video without remembering theme in every singel move
Congratulations Sam bro ⛩️🥷🖤🥀Brother according to you which is best for coding (computer field students) Mac or Laptop because I have seen in your video that most of the people use laptop with cooler and some people use Mac?
I know I’m not the person you wanted to answer this question, but honestly RUclips is a great source. Anyone who is really skilled at this craft did not learn it in a formal setting. They are self-directed, and passionate. All you have to do is decide exactly what it is you want to learn, come up with a fun thing to build with it, and research ONLY the knowledge you need to get it done. It’s an efficient and effective way to learn, and it makes you stand out. Do something you think is cool.
It was just any project within several different categories! and we went for health^ For more information about our project check the repository in the description!
RUclips is a great source. The first thing I did when I started (and this is far from unique) is identity the simple fact that I wanted to make cool-az desktop applications. I looked up how to make desktop applications on RUclips and Google and (of course) I didn’t understand. So I kept on backtracking topics that I didn’t understand until I found one I did, then kept working up the ladder with more and more complex knowledge until I could make what I wanted to make. If you take this path, hopefully you’re having fun making the with the knowledge you find in between now and when you’re capable of doing what you want to do. That’s the only way to learn. The most skilled people in computer science all learn from the internet, and from personal projects. Mostly the latter.
Forgot to show our project in the vid😅 If you're curious about it, click the link to our repo in the description!
