I really like the driving lights. Looks great! Last weekend on my TR3B, my right hand man Marcus and I worked for 1-1/2hours trying to get the left headlight trim rim on and the right one took about 15 minutes. so when get back to the shop I'm taking everything apart and if I can't get it down then, I'm sending it to you to figure out , ha!
Well, to be honest, the passenger side didn't go that well like the driver side. So I had some issues too, but it didn't take 1-1/2 hours LOL. Yeah, send it my way, I will put it in my spare stash :)
Elin, just a question.. Here in Australia, we have a lens polish which is used to clean and restore the clear acrylic lens on modern cars. This is the non abrasive paper repair kit like the 3m ones. Worked a treat on my Corolla.. This stull may be worth a go on the older, faded amber lens whicjh you are going to replace.. Costs about $16 Aus a bottle
Yeah, we have all kinds of repair kits here too, but they do half way decent job. I ordered all the lenses already. If it was a driver I wouldn't bother, but this car must be perfect when done.
Woooa Im fast :) I‘ve got a question to all of you. Have you ever seen a Triumph spitfire with a Ashley Hardtop ? Can you actually buy this Hardtop or is it so rare, that if you would find one you had to pay like 700$ or can you actually buy these quite cheap ? And Elin, I think your Triumph Spitfire would look amazing with a ashley hardtop!! :)
liten48 I !! just thought it WOULD look nice. It doesnt mean that he thinks so. It‘s my opinion and if you dont have a gt 6 and you dont have enought money to buy one you can make your spitfire look like one. It does not mean that other people have to like this solution.

I can't help noticing how nice and clean the TR6 looks with out bumpers! Especially the front. I may do this at some point to see how I like it.
Agreed! If I ever have my own TR6 it will have no bumpers.

Those ashly hardtop are for spitfires trying to be a gt6, the factory spitfire hardtops were designed for the car and look far nicer
