@@NFSAFilms was actually born in Brisbane in 1963 and have and had family up around that way some living up around Innisfail and working as cane growers and in the cane coop. My Uncle Lou actually fabricated cane wagons before he moved to Mount Isa with my auntie and cousins.
Thank you NFSA for another trip down memory lane. I know that life was hard in those days, but it was honest.
I’m sure that life was not easy, but it was simple with lots of community spirit. Thanks for this video.
ah the good old days
Yeah there all gone now
I went to that school at Maroochydore in 60,s for a little while when staying at my grandparents.
A beautiful, heathy Queensland life. What more could you want.
Lovely
Great simple enjoyable days. Just wonderful
WOW the beautiful sunshine coast before overdevelopment - 1959. So pretty even in B&W. You can see why the men were so tough in those days.
Awesome Video 👍
I remember visiting the NFSA when my wife and I lived in Queanbeyan. Excellent place. A must see if you find yourself in Canberra 👍🇦🇺
Thank you, come again.

Haven't heard the term "new Australians" since the 1960s.
Omg couldn't think of anything worse , hi from sunny Melbourne 😂😂😂
Does it still look 👀 like this now??
❤
Imagine being able to save enough money to buy your property before marriage, a joke now and even then hard to believe
My pop did it 3 times in his lifetime. Same with his cars
No, it’s just that our generation has no idea how to manage and save money and life frugally
Yep destroying the landscape for future generations. Love old school Australia. Don't worry about the future, spray, chop and grow.
And what a good job of it they did.
