Another great video Tabitha and team! Like you, I’ve fiddled with freeze and fuse before but not enough to be very good. You (and others I’ve seen recently) are inspiring me to reconsider it. Though I’ve used an electric toothbrush before, you have me wondering if I should buy my very first vibrator! 😂 When the Amazon package arrives, I’ll tell my wife that Tabitha made me do it. 😁
Oh, I hope your wife has as good a sense of humor as you do ;) It's always a good laugh when you take it out and start buzzing with it. We all tend to giggle like little girls ( we're not very mature around here). Let me know how your Freeze and Fuse works out. It's such a versatile technique, and I really don't use it enough.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Love watching and learning all these techniques you show us! ❤ You’re a great teacher! I’m going to now give freeze and fuse technique a go! Thanks again!
Tabitha, I giggled like a middle-schooler when you brought out the vibrator. Then I thought, "THAT, is pretty damn innovative!" LOL! I LOVED that piece, it gorgeous! I have seen freeze and fuse but never fully understood the process as it made no sense to me because I knew it would make steam in your kiln which I thought would ruin your kiln. Clearly I never watched a complete video! I am in my late 50's, my grandmother who was old when I was only 5, used to make gorgeous glass figurines, I think they were actually delicate ceramic. My point is that she used to make these beautiful dancing ladies in these incredible lace dresses, and that is what the freeze and fuse reminded me of. Anyway, thank you as always for being so down to earth and a real girl, with a hint of maverick thrown in! I love your creativity! 💖😊👍
I love doing freeze and fuse but often forget about it, so thank you. Yes I had a good smile and giggle about the cheap vibrator, had to have hubby watch too. Have a great Christmas and thank you for everything you do for the glass community.
This is beautiful, I hope I get to a place I can do something like this. Thanks for all you videos, they are amazing and truly informative for this beginner.
love love !, you made freeze n fuse so fun, I forgot all about those mold's at the Bakery supply store!. such great detail! Thank you so much for all you do!
Absolutely beautiful ! I was suprised to see you could make frozen flowers like that. They sell that stuff premade for freezing but it makes sense you can do it yourself. Its wonderful !
Thank you for this great video! It inspired me to do my first freeze & fuse. It turned out adorable. Can’t wait to get the treasures I ordered from your shop to do my next one!
Love it! It's nice to see the freeze and fuse done with adding powder in first on some of it, hadn't thought about that and I like that idea better since it's easier to manage.
Glad you like them! Please share your creations with us on Facebook or Instagram, if you're on those platforms, all of us here love to see what other artists do with our products.
I almost spat my coffee out when you pulled out the vibrator. Thank you for sharing and making me laugh so hard. Merry Christmas and thank you for sharing 😀❤️😀
I recently wanted to try this technique, never have before. Saw that very mold for the largest heart (with all the tiny flowers on it) and thought how pretty that would be, but was scared to try it because it looked possibly too deep. So glad to see that it worked! You've given me courage to try! Such a beautiful project! 😍
HiTabitha, I love your tutorials, thank you. Because this is so labour intensive, how do you go about pricing something like this? In another life I was a florist and the ‘rule’ was 1/3 product, 1/3 studio incidentals, and 1/3 time. I try to apply this now, but what do you use as the criteria….if you don’t mind me asking.
Tabitha, i am Peruvian and your work, I see all your videos and learn a lot Did you published the kiln temperature? Very interested to try and do it Thanks in advance
Hi, so glad to hear my videos are being watched all over the world, and so happy you like them. The firing schedules and materials used in the video are always at end of the video.
I just love this video and have watched it a few times. I have bought all the molds and my flowers come out nice BUT I can't seem to get a good red. What powder is the large rose heart?
Thank you. I know the color can be tricky with the Freeze and Fuse. The rose heart was just Red Opal 0124. I try to use lighter colors as they will go slightly darker. Happy fusing!
It is difficult to say what the issue is, but I would assume you need to fire the flower on a bit higher temperature. You just have to experiment, as all the firing schedules are so kiln dependent.
Hi Tabitha. You are AWESOME. Ilove learning from you. Quick question, if I may. Does the firing schedule for this technique work with 96 COE also. Thank you so much for all you share😊
My main experience creating art is with Bullseye glass, so unfortunately I don't know the firing schedules for 96COE. I would suggest joining Freeze and Fuse Facebook groups. You will get much more details on the technique and the firing schedules for 96COE glass.
Black Sharpie is the best to use for glass, as it will burn off the glass. For cutting it is good to wait for a minute or so the sharpie to dry, and then to top it off with some kind of a lip balm. This way the line will stay on the glass and it will not float away with water.
Love your videos. When filling the candy molds can you use fine frit or does it have to be powder? This is actually Patty not Bruce:) My husband and I share an email.
You can use a bit of fine frit, but it should be mostly powder. As I said in the video, I'm not an expert in the Freeze and Fuse technique. If you want more info on this, I would recommend you join the Freeze & Fuse Glass Facebook Group. You will find a lot of information on the technique there.
Beautiful! I have to say the vibrator is freaking hilarious and genius at the same time. I wouldn't have thought about that to get the bubbles out.
Thank you. The vibrator is a tip that's been pass down by other glass artists, it's always a good laugh

This looks amazing Tabitha, will have to try freeze and fuse! Thank you x
Thank you so much. Look forward to seeing your results. I will have to remind myself to use it more often too.
So pretty. I love doing freeze and fuse. You can get some great things to use in pieces. I think I will try this on a smaller scale.

Oh, I aim to please ;) Glad I could make you laugh. Thank you, hope you had nice holidays too.
I did laugh when you used the vibrator! My partner had to watch it too. Thank you for another inspirational video!
So happy to bring some laughter as well as inspiration ;)

Give it a go you can get such lovely results
Beautiful

Stunning 😍
I love it! Thank you.
That's beautiful
Thank you :)
Wonderful
You can also use egg shaped chalk to drape them over and it works great!
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind for the next time I use it.
The 'who doesn't want to splash out on a cheap vibrator - it's christmas after all' got the thumbs up clicked! so funny!

Hi, so glad to hear my videos are being watched all over the world, and so happy you like them. The firing schedules and materials used in the video are always at end of the video.
Stunning! Would you share what you would charge for that? Thank you
Hi, I would charge €120
I just love this video and have watched it a few times. I have bought all the molds and my flowers come out nice BUT I can't seem to get a good red. What powder is the large rose heart?
Thank you. I know the color can be tricky with the Freeze and Fuse. The rose heart was just Red Opal 0124. I try to use lighter colors as they will go slightly darker. Happy fusing!
I spent a little bit of time on Amazon looking for a cheap vibrator but in light of the way they looked I decided to buy an electric toothbrush😳😉😊
Oh no! Well, the toothbrush will do the job too ;)
I finally was able to get my flowers to not be a blob but they are dull, does anyone know why? Tabitha's are so shinny.

Great video!! What was the product you used to press onto the stamp @ 9:07 - an adhesive pad? Thanks for sharing your bountiful knowledge!!
The pad is VersaMark brand. Sorry, should have put it in the materials used. Next time I use it in a project I'll make sure to put it in.
Beautiful piece, love your videos! Do you have to cap the mica powder before firing?
Thank you. In this project I didn't cap it, as I used the stamping method.
Very nice. What did you to use on the stamp to hold the mica or powder on the piece?
Thank you. I used VersaMark stamp pad.
Mica powder is on the list of items used. When did you put the mica powder on the heart??
It is about 9 minutes in the video.
When you draw the heart on the glass, what kind of marker do you use?
Black Sharpie is the best to use for glass, as it will burn off the glass. For cutting it is good to wait for a minute or so the sharpie to dry, and then to top it off with some kind of a lip balm. This way the line will stay on the glass and it will not float away with water.
Are all the glass used the same COE?
yes
Where do you purchase the silicone molds?
Mine are mostly from the baking supplies shops
Love your videos. When filling the candy molds can you use fine frit or does it have to be powder? This is actually Patty not Bruce:) My husband and I share an email.
