Fender Kenny Wayne Shepherd Stratocaster {This is a Bluesman's Strat!}

We may still picture a 17 year-old Kenny Wayne in our minds, but Shepherd is now a seasoned bluesman, and his new signature Stratocaster reflects the maturity of his style. The 12" fretboard radius on his previous signature model has evolved to a vintage 7.25" radius, and now features elegant block inlays and binding. Further refining the tone is a chambered ash body that's resonant and sonically warm. Kenny's signature pickups still carry the midrange punch of a modern SRV sound, but in combination with the chambered body, there's a new roundness to the spank that's truly special. This is one of our favorite signature Strats.

I like how the bridge pickup doesn't have that harsh high end. If I got one of these it would break my HSS Strat streak with a SSS strat.

i played with this in the store a few days ago. Would you know if this has the treble bleed mod from the factory? I know KWS spoke highly of that in ruclips.net/video/adqDosE3wCk/видео.html

Doesn't come from Fender with the mod.

The video you reference was for an earlier KWS plug for the American professional series strat. The humbucker on those benefited quite a bit from the mod. These single coils on the signature model (in my opinion) don't need it.

@@MooreMusicGuitars fair point.. i played with it and didnt turn the volume down.... this is a very modernised strat with all the goodness of a 60s strat - the neck for starters is very manoeuvrable.
