Great video, love the design....except....is it possible to get one with a full 20 inch cutout for the light-bar? I know the logo is cool, but i really would not want to cover up 20% of my light-bar with metal/logo.

You could always drill a couple of holes in the top of it and mount 2 Rigid 360’s 6” I think that would look way better!

Finished the install last evening after work. Took me about 2 hours and I had to deal with a few self created issues along the way. All went well after I figured out my jack was about 4 inches too short. And since I had the winch mounted it was a LOAD. But it went in very well. One issue I had was the tabs to relocate the cooler were flat and appeared to be longer than the ones in the video. When I trial fitted them the cooler came into contact with the bottom of the radiator. I ended up drilling a new mounting hole on the passenger side mount that put the cooler out of contact with both the radiator and the bumper. Not a big deal. I also found a 6 inch strap with holes at each end that I did not use. What is it for? Did I miss something? Very happy with the end result. Looks great and highly functional.

I love the bumper but it would work better for me if it had a standard hitch receiver instead of the winch lead slot. I could make it, but it would be a nice option. What is the bumper weight and the weight of the parts removed?

why not re-install those things you took off at 8:53? they're there for small overlap crash, I know your bumper overlaps that area but doesn't seem like re-installing it would get in the way at all for little bit of added safety?
Is removing the two metal blocks required? Is there a reason why they were there in the first place? Can you share a recommended Winch?
It's nice looking bumper no cutting I wouldn't say it's exactly cheap. I just got a price with the bull bar kind of shocked
Does the lightbar location accommodate the new BD ONX6 light bars? They are much bigger than the S8.

Such a simple installation...until it comes to those flaps in the wheel wells, which just happen to be tucked in BEHIND the mount for the remote reservoir on my Icon Stage 4 suspension. Is there another way to access those?
You may be able to pull the wheel liners back enough to do the install without totally removing them.
Will a Warn VR 10-s winch fit in this bumper? I it was mentioned that a VR 8 will , what about the 10? Just ordered one of the bumpers btw, super excited !!
Did the Warn VR 10-S fit with this bumper or did you have to relocate control box?
@@nickht88 It fit fine. There is a metal arm or mount ( what ever you want to call it ) in the Tacoma front bumper that the bottom of the grill clips to that I removed. I used a few zip ties to secure the grill in place. ( bottom) . I left the bar in for the first year or two but it makes it tuff to plug in the winch controls so eventually took the bar out. But either way the winch FITS well.

Yeah was wondering if this improves or decreases the approach angle
would have gotten it but there is no option to take out that logo in the middle of the light cutout
Can you use & remove a winch cover in the bumper or do we just go cover-LESS ?
You could if you remote mounted the solenoid box out of the way.
Is installation for 2nd gen similar? I’ve seen the paper instructions but it shows pictures of a 3rd gen except for the last page and it’s not very clear what is the same as the 3rd gen and what isn’t

Yeah. Dont like logo. Looks like a butterfly at first glance. Logo not aggressive enough.
Would I be able to put in the trd skid plate using this bumper?
I am wondering if this will work with the factory TRD Pro skid plate also?

anyone running this with a bull bar and TRD pro grille with Radar cruise? wondering if it will work or if it interrupts the radar cruise. Might just go with SSO slimline as i'm not too crazy about the logo.

Question? Does it have to have the logo in the middle of light bar opening? Seems like it is kind of a waste. should just make it solid and have light bar space. I get it is advertising, but functionality wise it doesn't make sense. Also would help cut costs.
We think it makes the bumper stylistically more interesting than a rectangle hole, and it blocks so little light (like 5% of the total area of the opening) when it's all said and done that we felt it was worth it. Comparable to putting a light bar behind a grill honestly.

Will the tube option work with TRD pro radar cruise sensor?
We haven't seen any issues on our shop truck, but we can't test in every situation like Toyota when they design these systems. Our official recommendation is to run the no-tube version because of this.

Harbor a freight has a 6 ton winch. Would that be able to mount on this?
That should be the same size case as the 8k and 10k. Usually, they just have lower gear reduction and are slower. 12K will be overkill for a 4Runner, though.

And rear steel bumper why doesn't work with BSM? looks nice but for that reason I'm not doing it... "license plate and bsm"... work on those details..nice products!

BSM is a huge issue with packaging the sensors and liability. Toyota doesn't' give out testing or calibration procedures for these safety features, so we can't test placement.
Front license plates are lame. I moved to a state that doesn't have front plates.
