Ciara grew and wised up as a woman. You get tired of being hurt/not respected/valued etc and you realize that you are your own best friend and have to love and respect yourself. This also means leaving behind people who tear you down. She got crystal clear on who she was and what and who she wanted and the life/love/marriage partner she wanted for her and her son. Patience became her companion, and eventually what and who she wanted came into her life and met her halfway. That's the important part: he was willing to meet her halfway and then walk beside her; not expecting her to give or do more than he was.

I think they’re love is really authentic. It reminds me of me and my husband’s bond. My husband loves me with 3 kids from a previous marriage and I never doubter his love for my kids nor me of course. From the day we met we spent hours together bonding over lunch. Before we ordered for us he asked what my kids would like so can take home some for them and I was floored that he even thought of them like that. God bless that amazing family.

You go Russell!! I adopted and raised my oldest son. He was 2 months old when I met his mom. We married and had 2 boys and a girl. Girl being the youngest. I had no children before this unity. We had 4 children but I was not as lucky as you in a sense that we didn't make it but I raised all 4 by myself. Granted custody in 1993. They were aged 4, 6, 7 and 10. I put all my attention on them to make sure they were happy, safe, and loved. I love children. I had a great job with great pay and my kids wanted for NOTHING. I lost my first biological, second oldest son, by an accidental shooting in 2014 which bothers me every day. It's a struggle but I'm making it. I'm now retired and my kids are now 35, 32, and 30. My deceased son would be 33. He is a Jr. but he had 3 kids. A girl and 2 boys. His oldest son is a third. Gilbert A. Jones III....I'm from Richmond, Va., your home...GOD BLESS YOU AND I PRAY FOR YOU ALL. KEEP WINNING!!! 👍🏈
