Funny thing about people, when Ciara spoke about loving herself first no one cheered or clapped, you could hear a mouse tip toeing across the room, b/c everyone wanted to get to the prayer "formula" to finding love, BUT, she just mentioned the MOST IMPORTANT step and I don't know if no one caught it and that is "Learning how to Love Yourself FIRST".

When i felt lonely and thought i would be single for the rest of my life i started a journal "For my future husband" in 2014 and i wrote him prayers and letters and in 2019 when 4 pages left God crossed our path and i met the man i prayed for and in February 15 will celebrate our three years of relationship ♥️.

I have never listened to Ciara being interviewed before however this interview grabbed my attention. I received some valuable nuggets of wisdom from her. God bless her, Russell and family. “I don’t want to waste my life.” ❤️
Great interview! Ciara has “leveled up” in so many ways. The big take away from this is that she did a deep internal work that transpired in what she wanted in her life and what she prayed for. So you can recite the exact same words as her a thousand time and get absolutely nothing because you have to follow your OWN JOURNEY and work on yourself, evolve, break cycles and dysfunction in order to be centered and surround yourself with great people including a great partner.

Ciara is a beautiful person inside and out. Prayer is useful but preparing yourself for that special person is paramount. You create your own reality and this is proof.
God was looking after her. Really. Even at rock bottom he took her through her transformation. She is loved the way she wanted to be. That is God's way of helping her through the facade of glamour and rage in the industry. She is reformed internally. It comes through.

I love this! I love that she mentioned she needed to love herself! Many pray for something but aren't preparing themselves for those specific prayers. She was specific but she also knew she needed to love herself so she could not only get but receive the love she desired! Loving yourself is a REAL journey!!

She is not a whore for realizing Future was not truly invested in their future together. What are you supposed to do when a man is repeatedly unfaithful to you??? Honestly though I will say - all this drama trying to do the best for a child when you as the parents aren’t together is exactly why I didn’t have sex with anyone till I got married. I wanted to know - for damn sure - that whatever man I had babies for was going to be there for me and the child 100%. I wanted us as parents of the child to not only love each other but really love our kid and be there for our kid in every way. I’ve been married over 10 years now and I love how hard my husband works to be a good father - especially since my husband was raised by a single mom. One thought on this, I really appreciate seeing Ciara's spiritual maturity level. When she talked about praying for a God fearing man, someone who loves kids and being equally yoke with him, I think that speaks volumes as to how important it is to trust God in decisions like marriage. Also, that maximizing life thing is so real! In the past year, God has really been speaking to me about having an abundant life in Christ. Jesus will do this for you when you put your faith and trust in Him. It's the supply of the Holy Spirit which is a gift and a promise. #Rich life #It isn't about money or material wealth, it's spiritual

3:41 that's why I pray that GOD manifests what I need VS manifesting what I/myself want. Sometimes we have the desire to "manifest" things are that are inherently not good for us even though we want it really really bad but we don't have enough wisdom or clarity! Ex: someone might want to manifest a relationship with a person that's already taken and that desire can come from a genuine place! However, It's what they want but it's not what they need because it comes with drama, destruction etc. Like Ciara said you have to be in the right place spiritually, mentally and psychologically.

A lot of people don't really understand how to love themselves. When you love yourself you refuse to allow anyone to put you down or treat you any kind of way.
