If you look closely you will notice there's an Inquisitorial pendant hanging from the 'Templar' chains. Who knows what happened to him while he was away, but he was away long enough for his position to be filled and be brought back as a Lieutenant, and y'know for Guilliman to come back. Titus was likely praised by Guilliman upon his return much like how he praised Uriel Ventris.
well he had 2 golden studs at the start of the first game (just started a playthrough today lol) here he has 2 more.....alot can happen in that time haha 100 years each right?
I think they called him Captain because people who don't know 40K lore would hear, "Oh he's a lieutenant now? This must be a prequel," when in fact this game seems take place in the current setting of 40K with Primaris marines.
"Game over man, game over!" - when surrounded by Xenos?? No mate, you're thinking of Colonial Marines. Normal Humans, kinda like a regular Guardsman, except Guardsmen are generally better than normal humans. Like cream of the crop special forces of each world are the only ones to be given to the Imperial Tithe, many from worlds that may naturally breed them tougher and/or they may have basic cybernetic enhancements like the gangs of Necromunda... also Aliens is set 30,000+ years before The Imperium of Man exists. SPACE MARINES surrounded, on the other hand; "All I am surrounded by is fear and dead Xenos."
I think the reason why he was demoted was because in current age Ultramarines already have 2nd company captain. Spacemarine 1 could have happened before Cato Sicarius was promoted
I did a little research and found out that the developer retconned Captain Titus' rank of Captain to Lieutenant, due to the Ultramarines 2nd Company being commanded by Cato Sicarius in the lore, not Titus. So to fix it they made Titus a lieutenant, which is a bit confusing since the events of the first game are still supposed to be canon.
Could it be that they are using this game as a retcon? Titus was a Captain of the 2nd Company, but that position belongs to Cato Sicarius (or who is Captain now, I do not know -- it certainly is not Titus as he's a Lieutenant). They excused this crash of lore with saying that Space Marine happened in an "alternate universe".. but it is clearly taking from the primary universe now in how he's becoming a Primaris. That's a story point of the main universe. Alternate universes don't tend to take even more from the original one, instead branching off. Pure speculation from me, of course. I would just like for this to take place and for Guilliman to make an appearance somehow. Not necessarily on the field or anything like that, but at least in some form of cutscene. Many people are tired of Ultramarines and sure, so be it.. I for one love them and what they are based on -- despite personally being of the ancestry that the Space Wolves are based on.
the reaction videos are one of my little pleasures on youtube, and on this one you are the only ones not totally excited ^^ it's cool. And you detail well, keep it up
Considering how strict the inquisition are, Titus was lucky all he got was a demotion (which I'm happy because after everything he did, he didn't deserve the what he got).
I’m from the future. It’s only been a century since the last game. (Lol “only”) the only way that works is that Titus in the first game was very close to his third stud.
If 200 years past since the first game if we go by the gold studs then that one chick from the first game is dead cause i doubt a normal human like her would live for another 200 years.
What annoys me in such videos as yours is the constant stopping of the video, let me watch the whole video, and then disassemble and pause as much as you want...
Why everybody loves Titus? He's not a well written character and in terms of plot and lore WH40k Space Marine is actualy pretty frraking bad. Gameplay is cool, multiplayer is fun as well and the game is enjoyable to play. It's just... how you guys are even able to give a damn hell about Titus?
*_"We've got Guard. They're having a bad day..."_*
*_"No they're not. They're having a day. This is called Tuesday."_*
Lol.
Well in 40k universe it's just a Tuesday indeed :D

for me, after being "tested" for purity by the inquisition, he joined the deathwatch, where obtained the chain and the pendant...

Trailer started off my day great, They’re sticking to the lore and story properly too… Gunna be a good year
Except for the fact that they made tyranids look like a joke so that ultramarines could be the winners
@@Kodaiva those were the lowest lifeforms that the tyranids field, the space marines demolish those
Fighting tyranids...on a necron tombworld! Would be hilarious seeing those two armies fighting each other as the humans run around in panic.

Also the service studs prove it’s literally over 200 years later
I hope we get a collectors edition with a statue of Titus, the first game just had an art book and a purity seal.
That would be fucking nice to have damn they should do that
Lol the game was made to sell the new and innovative Titus Primaris Lt.
Imagine if they released a Titus mini with a special edition
I just hope GW release a Titus model with multiple weapon, gear accessories etc etc
Space Marine 3 - Chapter Master Titus of [player determined successor chapter]. I want it.

This is honestly one of the best reaction videos to Space Marine 2.

When Crossing the Rubicon to become a Primaris you get demoted in rank.
Spacemarine 1 was before Cato and in one of the Cato books, Cato pays homage to his predecessor Titus, I believe
This channel showed up in my recommendeds when I searched for the trailer. I gotta say, I really enjoyed this video!

Basilisk?it been a while since I've played but I'm sure that's an earthshaker. Basilisks are mounted to vehicles.

So does that mean Guilliman is already around when this takes place?
I believe so
Oh man this means we get to see the heavy intercessors and aggressors! I mean I hope we get to see them
Honestly, I would presume that him being back as an Ultra and a Primaris ... is the work of Robute ...
I'm kinda sad it's not Mark Strong ;(
Yeah, his voice is like honey.
So glad the hive mind perfect killing organisms backed away from 3 guys in armor
Great reaction guys!
Made by WWZ’s makers so large scale is expected
please be good! please be good! please be good! please be good!🤞
