I'm so sorry we've lost Frans Bruggen; I remember handing him a slice of cake on a plate when we entertained him at my law office after his Seattle concert. He was a charmer and a musical genius!
How many weeks of rehearsal they had to go through in order to play this piece? I get the feeling that if the ensemble does not play this piece perfectly it can become utter chaos really quick
