When it comes to securing components on a grooved shaft, the typical solution might be a caulking nut or a castle nut.

FS®-R ratchet nut - an innovation in product solutions as an alternative to conventionally used screw fittings.
The interlocking connection between the nut and the internal toothed washer secures the FS®-R ratchet nut and prevents it from coming unscrewed, causing the screw fitting to come loose.
Thanks to its integrated design, the FS®-R ratchet nut eliminates the need for any additional work steps like caulking the nut or using a split pin.
That means faster, more cost-effective assembly and removal.
