I have Anishinaabe ancestry on my mother's side, I grew up going to pow wows and getting to hear the amazing stories from some of the elders. It is an experience that shaped who I am as a man, and I have some very fond memories. Despite being white in appearance, I was never treated poorly or differently than anyone else, and neither was my father, who happens to be 100% European. Never at any point did they speak of anyone based on their race, everyone was just "people" to them, if that makes sense. Unfortunately we have governments and big business people who value money above all else and they are ruining earth for all of us. We recycle rubbish and they dump it in the sea and in poor countries. We are told not to use aerosols and then they test nuclear weapons.
All vegetation on earth created the environment in which it needs to survive. The modern human race has caused a lot of destruction including the rain forest which supplies oxygen and cleanses the atmosphere. The basis for that caring was practical discipline and spiritual reverence. Harvest Home Protestant church celebrations of gratitude were observed long before and after Thanksgiving became a formal national holiday.

This gentleman is so well spoken. My children and I enjoy our visits with Native Americans. We love sitting by a fire as they tell us their myths and legends. We have always been warmly received. My grandmother was part Cherokee, so I guess that is why I am drawn to these lovely people. However, there’s a part of me that feels guilty of how they were treated. I am a Christian and I know that there are many who will answer in the next life for their horrible actions upon such beautiful people.

I live in the East Coast in Virginia and I love it here, but I am drawn to the Southwest and Northeastern states. Of the many places I have been, these stand out from all the rest. I am a people person and I enjoying being with people of different cultures and I prize our Native Americans. They are such welcoming people and I have made life long friends with some. I fell in love with the western half of America. It’s hard to beat snow capped peaks, crystal clear lakes and meadows teeming with flowers for as far as the eye can see. On the other hand, it’s really something to witness the violent electric storms across the deserts and plains. Just magnificent. Being British, are you living here in the states or there? I understand that often time and resources prevent us from doing a lot of things, but should you be blessed with both, you should take 2-3 weeks to visit the National Parks of western America. I really prefer road trips, because getting to these beautiful places is just as exciting and memorable. I do hope one day you will be able. Despite being white in appearance, I was never treated poorly or differently than anyone else, and neither was my father, who happens to be 100% European. Never at any point did they speak of anyone based on their race, everyone was just "people" to them, if that makes sense.

This gentleman is so well spoken. My children and I enjoy our visits with Native Americans. We love sitting by a fire as they tell us their myths and legends. We have always been warmly received. My grandmother was part Cherokee, so I guess that is why I am drawn to these lovely people. However, there’s a part of me that feels guilty of how they were treated. I am a Christian and I know that there are many who will answer in the next life for their horrible actions upon such beautiful people.

I live in the East Coast in Virginia and I love it here, but I am drawn to the Southwest and Northeastern states. Of the many places I have been, these stand out from all the rest.
I am a people person and I enjoying being with people of different cultures and I prize our Native Americans. They are such welcoming people and I have made life long friends with some.
I fell in love with the western half of America. It’s hard to beat snow capped peaks, crystal clear lakes and meadows teeming with flowers for as far as the eye can see. On the other hand, it’s really something to witness the violent electric storms across the deserts and plains. Just magnificent.
Being British, are you living here in the states or there? I understand that often time and resources prevent us from doing a lot of things, but should you be blessed with both, you should take 2-3 weeks to visit the National Parks of western America. I really prefer road trips, because getting to these beautiful places is just as exciting and memorable. I do hope one day you will be able. If you ever need any advice as how to navigate through this beautiful land, I’d be happy to help in anyway.
