This is how you make a list. I hate when top weapon lists include applying insane buffs. As if I’m going to buff my weapon every 30 seconds
Only gotta buff once if the fight is less than 30 seconds

The fire knight greatsword has the undeniable best moveset out of all the colossal swords. It combines two unique moves from preexisting colossal swords, those of which bring the super fast R1 combo from the godslayer greatsword and the poking R2 from the zweihander. Combine this with arguably the best damage output of any colossal sword when going all out in fire damage and faith scaling, because it has a passive effect that improves fire damage. The godslayer and mainly the zwei were my favorite weapons in Elden ring, but now it’s undoubtedly the fire knights greatsword
Honorable mention for Claws of Night.
Yeah good honorable mention I should have done some because I like it but in my opinion I like the ones I had on this list better, but thanks for watching ❤
Claws of night is a double barrel shotgun that is the best dragon killer in the game imo. And who should care about anything else but dragons and bosses?

Ironically probably the claws that rack up the least amount of damage in the game lol.
I killed that fire knight 72 times (80 arcane + silver scarab) - he dropped his whole set + the sword on the last, 72th try.
I need this comment on my short cause it’s so annoying seeing people go “it’s not rare” or “it’s not even hard to get drop” it took me 11 minutes of farming to get it some people bother me with that stuff 😂😂😂 but I feel your pain my brother

I’ve kind of been digging the colossal weapon you get from the mother of fingers rememberance.
But the starlight is pretty great.

Best fire knight greatsword farm i found is from the Storehouse Loft site of grace, drop down the ledge by the lift straight ahead. Go down the stairs and boom, fire knight has his back turned giving you a free shot.
Also the Greatsword of Solitude has very high guard damage negation, making it a super fun guard counter weapon. That, paired with its Ash makes it allot of fun to run.
That one drops the shortsword not the greatsword
Personally fell in love with the backhand blades, the charged attack gets this really nice lunge to close distance and both ashes of war you can use on them are really strong, also you can infuse them which is even more nuts
Another weapon I feel like I need to go back and look at I tried them and ultimately like the flax better but the back hand blades are so sick😂
@@Prez54 I think the falx is really cool but I think that them being somber weapons and unable to get ash infusion brings them down a bit in my opinion, I ran cold backblades and they stuck, plus blind spot and swift slash are dope ashes
Blind spot can slip under attacks and past guards and swift slash is straight up a vergil move its so sick
Lastly, you can get backhand blades right at the start of the dlc while you need to finish Hornsent’s quest or kill him to get the flax
Blood fiends arm 1.
Barbed Staff Spear on a defensive faith build is strong. Bleed procs with its AoW, and the AoW isn't terribly intensive to fire off.
I’m playing through with a Smithscript Greathammer Thor build. So far it’s been a lot of fun chucking my hammer across a surprisingly long distance.
Hahaha no way I tried to make a build for it but I didn’t like it so much are you using anything crazy in yours
Great video. Thanks. Fully agree. Did not know lizard sword had that skill. Trying to decide what to use my Ancient Sombers and Ancient Dragons on from the DLC. I really liked the Ancient Meteoric Greatsword too and had much success with it. Backhand blades are very cool too. Bloodfiends Arm also a favorite. Fire knights greatsword also a Favorite. Greatsword of Radahn - Lord I just got and look forward to using in PVP. My favs from base game are Ruins greatsword, SacredRelic, Maliketh, Bolt of Gransax and are all maxed out. So many awesome katanas hard to decide on just one.
I got the fire knights greatsword on the first fire knight that i came across, i wasnt expecting it to drop from literally the first fire knight i kill

Falx can be obtained right when you get into Shadow Keep. Just assist Leda with her summons. Fire Knight Shortswords both with flame skewer on a flame build is literally nuts. Can do buffs and super cheese any boss in the game.

I did the DLC with the Messmer Soldier's Spear. I love this weapon.
It’s so fun and versatile
Renalla's swords are op af. It's the sword of night and flame, but dual wielded and the ash of war is long range for the magic, aoe for the flames. Definitely worth checking out.

They're my favorite. I also use Milady with a cold infusion or whatever you call it.
Blood backhand blade is great too. Double yield it and it will melt any enemies instantly. Not to mention its awesome aow. Best evade/counter aow imo
Messmer's soldier spear with Spectral Lance and Heavy infusion was insanely nice. Could basically stagger nearly every enemy I faced, either from distance or up close.
1- Death Knight's Longhaft axe. My build is based on lightning damage so this was a great addition.

I got the long axe and the twin axes, they are definitely awesome but i need to try them out more! Those death knights are one of my favorite bosses in the DLC so far! I obliterated tf outta them with the sunflower ash of war, it just stomps them into the ground if your able to tank a couple hits😂

Dane's Footwork is better than I expected it would be. Dryleaf Whirlwind for the ash of war does some crazy damage and stagger, and throwing blood infusement can build up hemorrhage quite fast due to how rapid the strikes are. Obviously the downside is the range of it, but still, a very fun and surprisingly strong weapon.
I use Danes and Dryleaf with heavy armor to compensate for the lack of range
1. I have a crucible knight build that erases bosses, devonias hammer has been a great addition to this build.
1- 100% the martial arts weapons they are so cool
They are so cool they saw the mods people made and had to ass them 😂
Sword Lance is most underrated weapon out there.
No matter what infusion this sh*t hits like a truck.
Flame faith build with dry leaf arts palm fist. Crazy range with buffs 1-4shot bosses

Use the castle main gate bonfire and go down the elevator and fight the messemer soldier. Was able to get the greatsword after 6 runs with the silver scarab!

Lol @ playing straight up. I do use incantations on my uchi, but I use my uchi because unlike a lot of people I like to play the game straight up ;)
The only thing i can seem to use to counter the flax swords are with palm blast in pvp if i time it right, those swords shred shit up in pvp
