This is great! Exactly what came to my mind when I read the title. Pink noise happens to have a pleasant balance of the spectrum to our ears and before mixing, you’ll have to think from the perspective of arranging where everything has its place and purpose at different times. And compressors basically manipulate envelopes and timbre too so mastering that is crucial

Did you use a calibrator for your reference mic? If so which one? Love your guys' content.

I've never calibrated the mic and have always gotten great results. But now you have me wondering how much it would be improved by calibrating the mic...

Would EQ'ing room help with vocal mics who are boomy and harsh or would individual EQ'ing help?
We don't have the money to buy a reference mic to EQ the room so I might just EQ the room with my phone for the time being

EQing your room is the best starting point. But you will need to EQ vocals individually as well. Grab my Vocal EQ Cheat Sheet for a great starting point: collaborateworship.com/bonus/vocal-eq-cheat-sheet/
