Encountering these things face to face really is the most awkward and creepiest thing ever. they seem somewhat rude and annoying. if they want to join you with whatever you're up to they will ask you like 2 or 3 times and if you say no enough times without paying attention you'll eventually noticed they actually stepped closer to you, say you were both 4 feet apart and you happen to notice while getting annoyed you're now 2 1/2 feet apart somehow. they actually remind me of kids without manners but with a creepy twist. i have experienced this only twice in an area called candor, new york on a back road up in the hillside with a weird girl, i had two buddies and their father with me walking. didnt get hurt or have anything bad happen though we definitely felt the anxiety and uneasiness. these kids literally never blink at all. contact lens or something? even then you should end up blinking at some point? this girl didnt.

Mannnn... one time my sister woke up at midnight to the doorbell and no one else in the house woke up. She opened the door to two children who wanted to come in and sell her cookies. My sister not thinking at the time was pissed off because of how late it was and told them to leave. She then recalled they had old timey clothes and easily vanished into the darkness. I’m really happy she turned them away.

I have a hard time believing this phenomenon.
Here's a frightening and believable story. ..I knew a woman who said she took a disposable camera with her on her hiking trek. She was camping alone in the Canadian wilderness. When she got her photos developed, there were pictures of her in her sleeping bag. One of the creepiest stories I have ever heard.
I have heard a similar story, a family was bowling and they were the only people there. They decided to take some selfies, when they checked the pictures, one of them was a picture from behind them of them taking a selfie.

A reason not to believe this phenomenon is what the video touched on at the end. This has only existed since the mid 90s that is the same time a "paranormal investigator" focused more on aliens published a book and has mostly spread since the early to mid 2000'@s and the rise of the internet. It's a variant of the black eyed people phenomenon that cropped up in the 70s. As it has spread the excuse for what they might be has diluted greatly as people latched onto the vagaries and spread it for their own uses.

So it makes it damn hard to believe if the phenomenon is in fact true.

In 2004 I was working as a Chubb patrol guard in Geelong, Australia. One of our last clients to hit was a massive firearms warehouse. We had 11 "ports" to hit during our patrol there. The first th i ng we do is disarm the whole place. On the 3rd corner I drove around, there in the headlights, clear as day, was a child around the age of 12. She was wearing a grubby white night dress and the easiest way to describe her was samara from the ring. She was staring straight at me and her eyes were jet black. No grimace or anything just a straight face with her dead eyes. This was at almost 5am in last August so sunrise was a few hours away as it was still winter. I drove and did my patrol as I normally would and some strange force of will just wrote it off as "Ok... that was weird, well I got a job to do!" And off I continued. I was however in a state of shock and although still did everything as I normally would, fill the car with fuel, clean it, back to base and emptied and stored my firearm, got in my car and drove home. But I could not shake the feeling she was with me. I refused to look in my rear view mirror as I just "knew" she was in the back seat. I got home and the sun was up. I went inside, stripped off and climbed in bed next to my wife and like a child, tucked the blanketnover my head until I slept. I knew, just positively knew that if I looked, she would be standing next to the bed facing me. Anyway, I awoke later that afternoon after trouble dreams, and got up and explained all this to my wife. She believed me. I never saw the girl again. But it shook me to the core for a long time. I knew what I saw. Believe it or not I really don't care. Just thought I'd share my experience. I never knew at the time there was a whole thing about these black eyed kids but I know that what I saw was not a child. I don't know what it was. But it took the guise of a child. Fucked up.
There is nothing here that is explicitly supernatural to my mind. But the thought of a Strange Girl standing motionless and staring into my house for an hour, is deeply creepy no matter who or what she was.

You know it could be that some of these kids ran away or were sleep walking and ended up in the woods which is horrific to me or even worse, maybe they were kidnapped or left. This is really very tragic.
What if the supposed "black eyed child" that one 'summoned' by the sound was just a neighbour who was just like; 'Bruh for the last 5 nights my neighbours been playing this super creepy sound on repeat, maybe I should see if he's ok.' 😂 but hey, the possibility maybe it isn't…?
The one with the face behind the pool thing, is extremely suspicious because her dialogue is obviously being made up. It's dead dialogue where she's making sure to show that part of the pool behind her. It's also the reason the other girl couldn't help but laugh and be awkward. She also repeatedly glances behind them as if expecting something but not want to give it away. I call fake as hell.

That was the way I felt when I saw it. I didn't catch the "ghost" though, I don't know how her followers did unless they're in on it too maybe. The ghost is only sublty there.
The pointless "look I'm in a pool" panning didn't feel right, felt staged.
