  • With 4 days off, I decided to travel to Windermere & hike to Grasmere, spending time exploring & summiting Helm Crag!
During the heatwave of July 2021, the journey was incredibly beautiful, but difficult, especially climbing Helm Crag in 30+ degree heat!
Solo hiking (with the exception of walking with Jeff & Wanda for an hour on day 1) and wild camping was an amazing experience, I urge everyone to do something like this.
Grasmere, or even just The Lakes in general, is one of my favourite places on this planet. Lush greenery surrounded by dominating peaks with hidden gems around every corner whether that be a waterfall, a serene lake, a spectacular view, a cave or anything breathtaking, the Lake District never fails to impress and leaves me always wanting to come back for more.
*This is an altered re-upload of my first video on this channel as some music was copyrighted- all good now though ☺️
Third time lucky! With another copyright warning on the same video for the second time after altering, this one should be fine! Updated & better in the process, all music used in this is from Epidemic Sound so will be fine! Sorry if this causes any confusion, and I'm slightly annoyed since the last upload gained just under 1K before I had to take it down!

Thank you to everyone watching, I appreciate each and every one of you!

Also, my brother and I hiked Hadrian’s Wall to raise money for Mind, we got 55 miles in before we were forced to cut it short due to food poisoning from an Inn we stayed in! We're better now, and will continue the walk in 2023 so if you’d like to donate and support us I’ll add the link below! It’d mean so much, and for a good cause!

Climbed Helvellyn and then lunch by the tarn, managed to go mid week so striding edge wasn't too busy. Keep up the adventures!

7:29 love the duck and ducklings :P Mother in my place was attacked recently, almost seen her dying.

      Oh no! Did she survive?

@@Orenjen Apologies, no idea, as she tried to ran away and she got to the point where I was not allowed to enter, tiny ducks were alone, I went there next day but did not see those little ducks nor their mother. No idea of she survived or not, did not see her or her children.

@@outdoor_spirituality oh no 😞 that’s so sad, I hope she made it and they just moved, but I know she likely didn’t make it 😞

@@Orenjen I really wish she survived and children are also safe and they just moved somewhere, never seen such aggressive ducks, did not even know they can do such things.

Never been to lake district, I guess I was to peak district, loved it anyway :P Maybe next time lake district :)

The Peak District is lovely but the Lakes are something else! I aim to visit the lakes every month or so for my hikes, it’s my happy place.
I recommend Grasmere & Buttermere as some of my favourites, but honestly anywhere in the Lakes are so worth visiting!
