Saw the "this knot is illegal" but it was so pretty looking with colored cord that I'm so glad you also posted a less weaponizeable version so I can make them as accents for a costume and for camping

Great video. I’ve been waiting for someone to do a video like this. I want to put my loop on the middle strand, of the second set of passes. Thanks.

I typically do these closed-loop Monkey’s Fists using a single or double overhand knot tied in the end of the cord to use as a core the way you did it here with a diamond knot. It’s not as large as the diamond knot. I guess that personal preference would guide your decision about which kind of knot to use.

I make these as key fobs, finishing them with a seizing made of black Kevlar thread on the loop near the Monkey’s Fist.

Can you do a "Mad Max" version😉😊

Do you mean a Mad Max bracelet with a monkey fist at the end instead of a diamond knot?

The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials LOL!!! I was just being sarcastic. However with the popularity of the "Mad Max" style that would be really cool.

Could this be done using a standard ball bearing or ping pong ball as a core?

If it is spherical then it can probably be used, I've made one using a tennis ball before

Would 1 meter be long enough ?
