    Teresa, that first quilt, never would have thought to use so many colors in one block, extraordinary.

    I just love your quilt blocks. They are fun, so colorful and we all need something to do while we are homebound. What type of sewing foot do you use? you make it look so easy.

    • @teresadownunder

      I use a 1/4” quilting foot

      Thank you for your response. What brand of quilting foot do you use and is it compatible on Pfaff machines? What brand of machine do use use? I am currently making your pinwheel block and it is such fun.😀

    Good tutorial. Did any of you know that you can trim the HST before you iron them when they’re still doubled up. I thought that was brilliant. A lot less work!!!

      @teresadownunder  4 года назад +1

      I’ve tried that but I found it to be leas precise. But it’s probably just me

      Teresa DownUnder Yes, I have not tried it personally myself, but Jenny Doan sure made it look simple on u-tube. Thought it was brilliant,

    Does this include seem allowance? Or do I need to add extra to get the 1/4inch seem?

    • @teresadownunder
      @teresadownunder  3 года назад +1

      It does include seam allowances

      @@teresadownunder so they're 12 1/2 squares? Just makin sure before I start cutting this fabric. Beautiful work by the way and thank you for the instructions

      Check the size at the end of each tutorial. If it says Finished size it means the size of the block after it’s been stitched. So after completing each individual block you’ll have an unfinished size, ie the size will be finished size + 1/5”

    Hii... I love all your vedios and have also used your blocks in my small project.... But many a time when I stitch my squares some r really flat but some r not... Is this because they get rotate granwise while arranging.... Or it's just my sewing error

    • @teresadownunder
      @teresadownunder  4 года назад +1

      It’s hard to tell without seen them but it could be sewing on the bias or inaccurate cutting/sewing

    Love the first block, but I counted, and there are 57 pieces in a 12-inch block. Doable, but not something I want to undertake, no matter how lovely the design. Guess I'm just lazy.
