  • Need to replace your taillights or change the bulbs? Watch this video for all the details. Taillight bulbs go out or begin to flicker very fast, both incidents require the bulbs to be replaced. It’s quick and easy on this 1995 Ford F-150. Just four screws and the taillight comes off. Twist the bulb socket and the socket plus bulb will come out. Simply pull on the bulb and it will pop free of the socket. Insert a new bulb and reverse all the previous steps and you are done!

Those bulbs are held in place by a spring clip mounted down by the fixture (on my 1995 and I think I saw them in this video). If you don't remove the clip the bulb pulls apart every time. Also the clips are not symmetrical and have to be replaced exactly how they were originally.

How funny, I just got one of those Milwaukee surge impacts for Christmas, only it's the M12 model!

The surge is great in both battery styles. I’ve been using a surge for 3 years. I’ll never go back to a regular impact.

I have a 1993 Ford f150 i replaced my brake lights to LED bulbs and attached the load resistor now my brake lights dim and brighten when i press the brake but now my turn signals don't work.

Interesting. I think you actually have to buy a special resistor/relay for your turn signals when you install LED bulbs. On the fuse panel it’s the larger round almost silver looking thing. It’s what causes the intermittent flashing of a turn signal.
