The best part about this video is that you can see Jeremy reacting to Kate's super high notes(watch his face anytime the camera is on his when she does it), at one point he just grins and shakes his head. He and Kirsten were engaged at the time but have since moved on. Kirsten actually just welcomed her first child, a baby girl, back in June.
Nobody ever points out that Jeremy's last line "And you know that you'll be in my heart forever more" he has to hold for 30 beats. You can hear him take a DEEP breath before he sings it and you'll see his face is red at the end of the song

There’s a great short video that shows Kirsten and Jeremy standing around the piano for the first time they hear Kate sing that descant. It’s so funny because Kirsten does the same thing you did, she just puts her head down and goes WOW! I think it’s from where that look comes as they get to that part. So good!

That my friend was Kathy Lott, or Kate to her friends, that's why I call her Kathy. Just a dynamic voice among many dynamic voices. Kirsten has the quintessential Disney voice. Getting back to Kate's voice, it's not that she gets that high, it's the warmth she maintains at that level. The line up of singers changes with Voctave but they never lose their beautiful sound. Thanks for your reaction kids.

Here are some of the answers to your questions. Voctave (and Voiceplay) are located in Orlando. The members met when they all sang for Voices of Liberty at Disneyworld. Kirstin is from Texas and is a member of Pentatonix (another accapella group). At the time Kirstin and Jeremy had just gotten engaged so the twitterpation was real. Unfortunately, it didnt work out and they broke up but left us all with this amazing performance. There are some good behind the scenes from this that show Kirstin and Jeremy sing then when Voctave brought in their wall of sound it blew them away.

Kirsti of Pentatonix and Jeremy a business owner at the time of this were actually engaged but later split apart under absolute friendly terms to remain very good friends.
You guys definitely need to react and watch more from Voctave!! I have a suggestion from vocatve and that would be their cover of "Mary Did you Know" since it's the holiday season!
Mike and Jess, this Voctave performance was their first under the name "Voctave". It was recorded in late 2015 and released in early 2016. At this time, Voctave had only 8 members present. They later expanded to 11 members. An alto and bass voice was added giving the ensemble an even fuller sound.

Like Voctave has a Florida connection, Pentatonix has a Texas one. Kirstin, Mitch and Scott are all from Arlington, Texas.
If you notice what seem to be loving glances between the 2 soloists during the song, Kirsten and Jeremy were a couple at the time. Not together now though.
They had such a great chemistry while singing! Thank you for filling me in on the romantic connection!💜
The group is tremendous obviously, and they blend impeccably but it's impossible to not note Kate's crazy range and EXQUISITE pitch. She manages to sing her part in a way that compliments without dominating but still. This is one of my all time favorites of theirs and I just found this clip of their rehearsal which is a lot of fun to watch....

It's pronounced, just to help, VOK-tiv, like an octave on a piano - it is not a long "a"
You might find it interesting to learn that this was actually produced prior to Voctave becoming a group (notice there are only 8 "background" singers). In fact, the name of the group was suggested BY Jeremy Michael Lewis.
