DIY Mobile Workbench with Table Saw & Router Table / Ep 1
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 9 сен 2021
- This is the first video in a five-part series where I'll show you how to build a robust and versatile woodworking bench to which I'll also attach my new bench table saw and a router table.
I'm going to install two folding tables to save space when I'm not using my bench, as well as to have more space to work when necessary. I'll also make a sliding carriage for more accurate and comfortable crosscuts.

@@Paoson_Woodworking Thank you, I don't know how I missed it.
Dude, if this is the only thing I build in my lifetime, I will go to Valhalla a worthy warrior! I will certainly be buying the plans to your genius!
Hello friends. let us be grateful to our friend who posted this video sharing knowledge. It doesn't cost anything to like and make a simple comment. It is the least we can do in gratitude for his work. thank you!
obrigado Paulo!
I sure am happy to see you posting videos again. I hope everything is fine with you and your family. This workbench looks awesome, looking forward to the second part. Cheers from Costa Rica. Pura vida!
This will be perfect for my small garage workshop with the extension pieces! Great design
Truly mesmerizing - The grace with which you create such complex yet harmonious machines with the simplest of tools! Great to build for any DIY workshop.
Thanks for posting your content. I have built several benches now following your design of laminated plywood and boxes. They are very effective. The no hardware drawers are very robust and can carry tons of stuff. Thanks. David.
So well-thought out, such precise construction...can't wait to see the rest!
I love your builds and the professional way you present them!
Спасибо за прекрасное видео! Великолепный результат.
This is BY FAR the coolest, most intricate piece I've seen for table saw workbenches!
Absolutely love it, going to purchase the plans. The $25 is well worth it! The amount of work you put into this is mind blowing! Cheers from South Dakota.
Ooh, beautiful! Love your designs. Can’t wait for the upcoming sequels!
top of the galaxies, unparalleled, incredible, spectacular, the best project I've ever seen in my life!! I'm Brazilian my brother, your intelligence has me hallucinating, really amazing project!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Beautiful! Love the design! Well thought out to allow using the saw fence and also a sliding miter table too.
i purchased and built your cross cut sled and its outstanding, you really do provide great content and ideas. Thank you for all the great videos
What a great project this is! Exactly what I was looking for.
Awesome concept and the breakdown features are just what I've been trying to come up with myself - for exactly the same saw - Thank You for your creativity.
Super impressive! You really capture the utility of this bench. Perfect for any shop or garage.
Grazie per l'ennesima chicca partorita dal tuo genio!
As always... obvious clarity of thought, and skillful execution. Many thanks.
Given that, for whatever reason, episode 8 of this build was the first video shown in my recommendations, I had no problem skipping ahead briefly to that video to confirm that he did in fact install all six wheels. That's comforting, because I can tell at a glance just from the sheer amount of weight and stress that this table is going to go through that it's necessary.
This guy doesn't seem like the kind of person to cut corners. Trying to save a few bucks on two other wheels for a several thousand-dollar table is tantamount to buying a $1000 smartphone and not spending $50 - $100 on a shockproof case.
Now that I have confirmed that he absolutely knows what he's doing, I can enjoy the rest of the series.
Thank you for your response, l appreciate you answering my question. That link took me to all my answers. Now for me to find the time. I love your your tools. Wished had seen them about 10 years ago, but might replace some of my equipment to have them now. Your a Master, l am a “grasshopper”
Amazing design, it's definitely on my to-do list.
Thanks very much, a great design, talk through and walk through. Great workmanship as well.
Thank you for this video series. I bought a portable 10" job site saw for my shop to save space. some time ago. I am planning a cabinet for it in the future. This is a great and very functional idea for the saw and router table station. I will be planning a version of this for my shop as well. Very nice build.
As the works seen so far are meticulously perfect, based on the detail of the plans purchased, the amount of detail drawings is a perfect job! Thanks
thanks!
Interesting and well made. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
Dado's fit on the dewalt 2479!
Amazing desing! looking forward for the rest
This looks like its a fantastic design. Looking forward to the next part.
Excellent, always a joy watching you work and the designs are great.
Looks you have a persian carpet in your workshop. Some luxury. Only one I saw in years of watching work in workshops.
Loved your design. Waiting for the next build.
Genius. Please keep sharing your skills with the rest of us. Thanks 👍

@@Paoson_Woodworking hey man you are really masrer? very nice thank you? are british or american
I smile u say , legend watching legend, i salute dor both of you
Gracias por tus vídeos
Gran trabajo
Loved it, going to watch the whole playlist on this.. Love how you put a totally modern twist on centuries old mortise-and-tenon joinery. and use carpenters grade plywood to build it our of.. Wouldn't MDF had been a better choice on this, I know it is more expensive, harder to except screws, but using glue and the "mortise-and-tenon joinery" to attach would make it very strong, very stable (almost no explanation or contraction) & last, virtually for ever.. I can see there must have been at least a hundred hours of thought & planning into it.. I am a retired master carpenter, with 50+ years of work, I was trained by a Amish master for almost 15 years, from age of 10 to 25.. My shop has all the high tech toy's, yet I still do 90% of my joinery with mortise and tenon.. You have earned my subscription.. Sorry I babbled on so much.. Thank you for sharing... It was a joy to watch a very skilled tradesman... Oh also using some HDPE board in some places would also give it extra strength...
I’ve been thinking about a table like this. I don’t need the router but I like everything about this build. Thank you for the inspiration
And not a Festool to be seen!!!!
Hello my friend, Unless you try what's new, you can't learn anything new. And you are always trying to teach innovations. And you always produce innovative works and ideas. Thank you for sharing. See you.
Wow! This is the most thought out mobile workbench I've seen.
Love your design methodologies. Great design and well thought out. EXPENSIVE to do because of that high grade plywood but it should last forever as long as it never gets too wet. A good application of a quality sealing finish should be great protection unless there is a flood.
thanks as always Clyde! you're right
Absolutely magnificent.
Como siempre, tus trabajos son perfectos. Increible!!!
Gracias! Saludos!
Fantastic design. The sliding table is the best part of the build, in my opinion.
This is what I need desperately. Thanks very much.
So glad to see you posting videos again, my friend...I look forward to the rest of this one.
Good day,
I don't speak English so please excuse the google translation.
The plans for the workbench and other accessories were delivered to me today.
I want to thank you for the quick response, professional and exceptionally clear processing of the documentation.
Now it remains to start production.
Thank you once again and I wish you a lot of creative imagination, joy from your work and many satisfied clients.

😲😍🤩This workbench looks amazing!!! I live in a small townhouse and to have this off in a corner somewhere that I can roll in and out looks perfect. Just purchased my plans. Thank you so much for this.
Pure perfection & ultra satisfying to watch! I’m totally impressed by your skills. Looking forward to the next episode! 🤩
thanks!
Another masterpiece. Many thanks.
Always look forward to your videos. It's nice to see your take on a project. Your drill press and manual CNC got me hooked.

Your projects are truly magnificent, every time you create something like this, I am enchanted. Really very good
Enchanted, what like a forest? with pixies and shit?
I've watched this video as well as the two following videos repeatedly now... And man, this is pure genius!
thanks Mattias!
Impressed by the workmanship, as well as keeping that rug clean. Well done on both.
thanks!
How could anyone give u a thumbs down for that ?! Great work again man, like all your other shop projects !
Your precision and attention to detail is amazing!
I have been waiting for this ALL MY LIFE. Thank you
I’ll be buying these plans! Can’t wait to see the rest!
thanks John!
Looking great! Look forward to next episodes! 🙏🏻
Excelente Sizu!!! sigue con este excelente trabajo!!! Tu inglés mejoró muchisimo!!!! FELICITACIONES!!!
gracias compañero!
Interesting. I personally used small dowel pins for aligning the posts before glueing invisible from the outside; instead of nailing so to avoid the metal inside the wood. I used this technique with your mobile workbench plans.
This is another interesting build for the Dewalt table saw.
you're right, it's a good idea to use dowel pins. Send me some photo of your mobile workbench please!
Literally, one of the best designs i have seen here
Очень приятно смотреть твои видео! 👍👍👍
thsi is perfect for my new small shop!!! I will be buying the plans asap!
I really like this. It probably isnt basic level, but I am choosing this as my goal for this spring...
An intelligent build, the strength of mortice and tenons without the labour. Thanks very much.
thanks!
always well built projects, awesome!
Increíble.. otra vez.. me encanta tu trabajo.. un abrazo desde Chile 🇨🇱
