I'm still so impressed by how far Ryan Guzman (Sean) has come. Unlike a lot of the actors in the franchise, he came in with no dance background, and he got good so fast.
He was in 9-1-1 I've seen him on that show

I love that of all the other female leads, Andie wasn't gonna just kiss the guy even though she had feelings for him. She made him work for it. Especially Sean. Chase and Andie had an almost kiss that got interrupted, but she still gave him a piece of her mind and didn't just give in to her attraction. And here, she had the opportunity in front of her with Sean and she didn't take it.
And I like that. Given her past with Chase.
I like that she wasn't just gonna give in to her feelings. Especially since she knew Sean had some reevaluating and reprioritizing to do.
Honestly one of the best movies out of thg e franchise

I didn’t see step up 2, but i find her moves on the rough side I know it should be snappy but gracefulness should still be apparent

Used to be obsessed with this scene in 2014 🤣
I think this is like the only time I can recall when like a movie franchise has two separate movies with a main couple but you see the characters later that it didn’t work out and now a character from each relationship are in a new movie, same franchise, and get together. Like I realize they’re both in relationship where they’re the ones in a lower financial situation while their past significant other was basically higher and aiming into more formal training and it broke off but now they’re both kind of same background and have more in common together and I love that they’re happy with each other. Also love the consistent couple of moose of course
Idk much about the financial situation being a factor, but formal training sure. Both chase and Emily had formal training in dance, meanwhile Andy and Sean are more street dancers type , they both come from dance crews ( 410 and the mobb) and come from similar tight knit communities, now that I think about it , them being paired up is logical.
Opposites attract thing works in the beginning but down the line it sadly loses it's charm , meanwhile more similarities make the relationship stronger.

They are the better couple and I’ll die on that hill 😭. Andie makes Sean a better person and she helped him realize a lot in this movie. They balance each other out and I love that🥹
