Well done Donald! Can’t believe you removed all that debris and the guy stood there and denied knowing anything about it! Huge effort, great job, thanks.
Thanks Geraldine 👍
Above and beyond - excellent job! I didn't think the cement would be able to be reomved with just hand tools but you pushed through. This customer owes you a beer and a better excuse of how all that got into the pipes.
Lol 😉👍
Nice work man, the owner like you said was very lucky he caught that in time. I saw a similar situation years ago where I used to work where two silly buggers tried to dispose of very expensive (at the time) epoxy based paint they were using to re-paint a large metal lathe. They got the mixture all wrong and it wasn't going on very well and looked horrible so they got the bright idea to hide and/or get rid of the "bad batch" by pouring it down the toilet. Well as you probably know when epoxy hits water it goes rock hard and *NOTHING* will remove it. The entire basin part of the toilet was as solid as a rock so their next bright plan of action was to remove the toilet and start hammering at the epoxy with large crow bars on one of the fabrication departments steel benches. In the end they basically ended up shattering the toilet into multiple pieces and all I saw when I came into work the next day was a shattered toilet with two crow bars stuck in it on top of a steel work bench. I pissed myself laughing for the rest of the day.
😆 🤣, thanks 👍
Wow that would've been awesome to see, dumb and dumber at work. 😹😹
I guess it's nice to have the owner watching just so they can relay the message to others on what not to flush down the sewer system. Great job again, keep on flushing!
Thanks again 👍
and they'll still do it again. 🙃
Sabotage! Not gonna lie, flinched a little bit when you started swinging the hammer and it came close to the camera 🤣 Almost 3D!
Lol 😎
100000000000000000000000000
That owner sounded too calm when he was informed that it was construction materials blocking the trap. Would love a little walk around the place and seeing if there is a new bathroom or kitchen remodel!
Next time! 😉👍
Can not believe on what you took out of there, you did really well clearing that, hope the owner keeps a eye on what the builders are putting down the drain 👍
Thanks 👍
This guy def pissed off a contractor and they poured cement / grout down the drains for revenge. Good job on the demo work!
hehehehe oh yes,,, but i think its cement,, because tile grout i don't think gets so hard,,
Thanks again 👍
Blow on it the right way Anthony
You went above and beyond on this job! I didn't think that you were going to get that trap open with all of that cement in it. Nice work!!!
Thanks 👍
Even the toughest roadblocks have nothing on this man! Another job well done brother! 👍🏽👍🏽💯💯
Lol thanks again 😎👍👍
Nicely done!
Thanks for the video 👍
Thanks for watching 👍
Good job young man. Enjoyed watching you work. 👍🏼
Thanks, glad you enjoyed 👍 😉
Looked to me like someone's been laying tile. This one was an adventure. Good job!
Sure looks like it. Thanks 👍
Excellent job!! I can"t believe all the grout that was in the trap
Thanks again 👍
Hard work Sir, great job, nearly a dig out and replacement.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching 👍
Great content. Glad to see your channel growing!!!
Thanks for the support 🙏
I NEVER go into any job thinking it’s going to be a piece of cake. I’d just be setting myself UP ⬆️! Great job AS usual!
Thanks again 👍
Hell yea ny. You got it bro. It’s amazing what people actually put down there drains and Cement ffs that’s madness
😎👍
I love your show! Thanks!
Glad you enjoy, thanks for the support 🙏
Awesome patience with this job! Alot of people would have given up!
Thanks 👍
Well done !! My luck we sure in the hell would have a hair line crack along the seam in that trap.. Ha.. your a lucky dog on this one..
Lol thanks again 👍
Definitely took a lot of time. Awesome job as usual!
Thanks again 👍
@@NYDRAINS no probs!
Well done job Boss man....remain safe and keep on plumbing
Thanks again 👍
Going above and beyond
👍👍
That cement wasn't down there very long because it completely blocked the drain. Someone would notice quickly. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
I don't think it was there for a long time either, thanks for watching 👍
Wow! Jackhammer work! You coulda used an electric gun on this one. Kudos to you, for not givin up on it! great job😀👍
Thanks again 👍
Wow ! That’s got to be one of the most difficult & time consuming clogs that I’ve seen you clear. These videos should educate people why you should not flush or put certain things down the drain such as wipes, pads, tampons, or building materials such as spackle, grout, & cement. Lots of cement and scale for the sidewalk but no corn for Ratty in this one.
yes
The guy knew better. He just didn’t care.
A lot of people pour/dump down the drain with there fingers crossed 🤞 😉👍
Seem like a tough one but you got to go on brother. Good job. Keep it up. Have yourself a great day
Thanks again 👍
you are one of a kind great job hi from denmark
Thanks for watching 🇩🇰 😉👍
Great job above and beyond very professional nice touch not breaking the pipe you could of told him he needed to replace the trap
Thanks 👍
I love it when you said: _“There’s something hard down here.”_
Yeah, it’s called: despair. 😄 OP, invest in an cordless electric hammer/chisel. It like having a mini Jack hammer. Of course if you don’t use it for the block pipe, reserve it for the blockhead owner.😒
Lol 😉👍
Man he got lucky. You had to put in some work on that one. Great job 👍🏾
Thanks 👍
That was fun!! You need a bent trap chisel!! 2 ft.long, call it the Donald special!! $$$$
😆 😉👍
Flowing like a river...😄
Definitely was flowing like one!
What a mess & not a doo doo either. I don't know much about plumbing, but I certainly know you don't pour cement or grout down a drain. Good work!
Thanks again 👍
A lot of chipping to get rid of that cement, excellent work. beyond the call of normal duty.
Thanks again 👍
You earned your money on that one well done good job some people are never satisfied
Thanks 👍
12:33 had me flinchin every time that hammer came back hahah
Lol 😉
Good job. 👍
Thanks 👍
great job getting all that junk outta the U pipe, especially the cement meticulously removed, great job
Thanks 👍
Looked a whole lot like floor leveler, stuff moves until it gets to a dip and settles, sets up hard as a rock. Been there and it gave my flexshaft a workout.
😉👍
Looks like it has been backing up for a long time
Very good job pipe cleaning
Thanks again 👍
Wow Donald I'm impressed.
Glad you enjoyed Nancy 👍thanks
Really nice camera work on this one NYD. I guess some people think you can put anything down the toilet and it “disappears”.
And reappear in the black plastic ocean
Playing around with the toilet too much as a kid 🤣 thanks 👍
It was mind-blowing not to see any wipes or rags or socks pulled out. Lol was it weird for you too? 😂I love your videos💯👍👍👍👍
Lol definitely, glad you enjoy, thanks for your support 😉👍
you work hard. good jobs
Thanks 👍
Wow, I can't believe what you removed from the drain...that was crazy awesome!! Maybe it was from some past construction and made it's way down the line!! 🗽🍎🐁🌽🔨✌️😊
🤷♂️😉👍
"Not my House Not my Problem" Mentality right there, I pour that in the bush, dirt or grass .
Awesome job! Made for a great video anyway. I don't know where that concrete came from...wasn't me. Just like Wipes? We don't flush wipes here...
Lol thanks 👍
good job man
Thanks 👍
lol that homeowner totally did that himself.
Lol
All that concrete or grout Donald , think it been in there not long, so my guess is he know's! . good rescue and chisel work Donald well done ,he was lucky to have you ,get it all out ., top man ...
Thanks again for your continuous support Peter 😉👍
That’s crazy. Have you ever seen that before? I wonder if it was done on purpose?
Usually tile guys cleaning off their tools
Unfortunately a few times 🤦♂️
Tough one , enjoyed the video
Glad you enjoyed 😉 👍
Lord I don’t know what happened down there. Do you know what the unopened cap in the left was for? That guy was suspicious when you showed him the concrete. You never gave up with the drain. Good Work!
The other cap wad the street side clean out, thanks 👍
@@NYDRAINS no problem
Great video. Unbelievable people flushing cement
Thanks 👍
Nice work Donald. This looks like a $150 job. Not even a extreme fiber diet can plug a trap like that. Talk about pooping bricks, this is what it looks like.
Thanks Dennis
When Benders mighty claw can’t break through you’ve got problems 😅
😉👍
Love the new intro
Glad you enjoyed 👍
Lucky, it was all in the Trap. Charge extra for this unclogging, lol
good work - isn't it funny how concrete sets rock solid when you don't want it to ! 🙂
Thanks 👍
maybe plaster or a quick setting type drywall joint compound, that stuff will settle to the bottom and harden with enough time.
😉👍
How do u know when you get to the root of it the clog it’s self do you feel it?
Yes usually you can feel it.
Excellent job. That should cost extra
Thanks, some things do cost extra 😉
Great. Job. Edbonjovi aka leak master plumbing
Thanks 👍
Move over Spartan snake, here comes the jackhammer!
Lol 😉 👍
Did you charge extra for the "grout" removal?
I do charge extra for certain things.
Could the upstream pipes corroded/rotted through and the stone come from around the pipe that corroded out? All that scale makes me think the cast iron pipes are in really bad shape.
It's also possible since they're doing construction might have cut or replaced some pipes causing scale as well 🤔
Good morning Donald good job as usual why would contractors wash their tools in the sink
You can but you have to make sure you keep the water running for a while
Good morning Deborah, thanks again 👍 🤷♂️
This is the reason, you should never flush cement or grout down the shitter.
😉👍
You deserve double pay for that job, hope this guy gave you a nice tip? Was there a cap on the one side of the trap at all? This guy was definitely lying about what’s been going in his traps? Other guys would’ve away and told him to get a plumber and put another trap. Great job. 👍
Not sure, I did notice a covered cap on the top left corner of the pit in the video 🤔 thanks 😉 👍
👍👍👍
👍👍
That was a tough one Don, funny how nobody wants to own up huh? ;-)
Lol they never do! Thanks again Nigel 👍
do you ever use the head of the hammer?
Michaelangelo of plumbers 🤙
🫡
how many trap bottoms have you broke?
Time to call Ollie!
Hammer drill with a small bit, 1/4 inch masonry bit and that will all fracture for you and not destroy the cast iron trap.
😉👍
The whole area backed up with floor leveler.
😉👍
Wow ..that was really blocked !
🤯😉👍
You are good at drains but this is far and beyond the normal.
How do you charge for something like this?
Some things do cost extra 😉 thanks 👍
Cement, huh? I was just happy to see minimum to no poop...
😆
That was one if the more odd things to see. Who the hell pours grout and cement down the drain. I mean that is just stupid.
Assuming the home owner wasn't lying, which I doubt, he should be able to civil sue the company he hired for whatever construction project done in the house.
Oh and NYD...do you guys replacr traps usually or is that for another company to do? How much would something like that cost and time wise to do? :O
It all depends on the location and the customer 😉👍
@@NYDRAINS gotcha.
Boy! wish these videos were on 3D
Lol 😉👍
What the? Everything I need for a plumbing job, masonry chisel , Check!
Lol
If your drain guy needs a hammer and a chisel to clear the clog, you fu**ed up!!
Lol 😉👍
Has this happened to you before, having to chip out concrete?
The second time I walked into a job like this, the first time I walked away because there was no hope on saving it.
Rất kỷ thuật quá hay
@ NYDRAINS, Surely you didn't only charge $49.95 for all that work.
nobody charges $49 for a drain cleaning anymore lol not even a simple sink drain is under $100 anymore.
Just for the drain cleaning 😉
Someone needs some stool softener in that house. Those turds look hard as a rock.😁
😆
This is what renters do to exact revenge on landlords
Definitely
It’s hardened grease!
How about a new trap ?? Well done sir ?
That was plan b, thanks 👍
@@NYDRAINS kinda thought so hehehe 😉 have a good evening
I think you almost hit the camera a few times lol
Lol
After that job You can add paleontologist to your résumé
Lol
judging by the stuff in that hole im thinking its been blocked up a long time and because of the brick only water was going down the hole and the rest was just breaking down like a mini septic tank
🤷♂️👍
Rock like hard deposits in the waste line. Classic sign of too much calcium in their diet, not enough leafy greens.
😆
I haven’t read all the comments so maybe someone else already said it. Also this might be a rare occurrence but a longer chisel and maybe a chipping hammer would be a good investment. ;-)
Agreed 👍
i think the owner is trying to put concrete inside the pipe to block it off maybe 🤨
🤔... that Was the homeowner!
