Great video. Hope you got to see the Palace of Holyrood House (the official Scottish residency of the Royal Family) which is at the end of the Royal Mile. A worthy replacement for Edinburgh Castle at the top of the Royal Mile. The New Town, past the Scott Monument, is also worth a visit.
Plenty to do in Edinburgh. Came here 33 years ago and haven't left! Did you go up Arthurs Seat? You can visit it with Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament. A great place to walk around from the bottom of the Royal Mile. especially heaven for dogs, as long as you keep them on the lead in nesting time! Park Rangers do tours but you'd have to book. There's cafes in the Palace grounds and in the Scottish Parliament and toilets before you get into the park. Nothing up there! PS: There's a bag security search before getting into the Parliament building!
Where's your kilt? Scott bought himself a sarong in Sri Lanka. Glad you showed us around the kilt store. He might have to add a kilt to his collection.😄
This is my home of 62yrs and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. It's a beautiful city.
Thank you for this video. Wonderful. What a rough start from London to Edinburgh.
We still had a great time. Beautiful city. We want to go back.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY Wonderful. 😀

A few years ago I slept in the Castle for a night!

Have to get the family colors to get it right.
It amazes me that so many North Americans when visiting the UK reduce thousands of years of history to 7 children's books or more probably 8 films
John Knox was the instigator for Scotland becoming a Presbyterian Country.
Awesome info. Thanks for letting us know.
