I fiddle around on the guitar, but it's so hard to wrap my head around the 6 different strings and then positioning my fingers on the neck and near the strings... it's just hard! Good for you for trying a different instrument out!

Actually, they both did it! Switchfoot probably did it first. I think I learned that a long time ago but forgot. Switchfoot's version is different, and this tutorial is for the Mandy Moore version, but for someone who wants to do a cover of the song, this is adequate for both versions.

I'm the same way. Aside from the fact that my fingers hurt trying to play the guitar, I just couldn't get the hang of the chord placements on the instrument. I just find piano alot easier to play lol.

There's no such thing as B#......
Alison Lim technically, there is. Its C. Not commonly used, but it is used every now and then. In a C# harmonic minor scale, it's a B#.
