If I had one composer to work with, it would be Mr. Braxton. I'm in high school, so I still have a chance...

No joke, you can do this. Pay attention to the details in Marty Nickison's post, above.

If you want to work with him; go meet him ! Volunteer at one of his festivals. Become a member of the Tri-Centric Foundation and buy some scores and record the works on RUclips......networking and service are two of the keys you use when you want to network with the famous...
Also, it would do you well to READ AND INTERNALIZE the book "Networking With The Affluent" by Thomas Stanley.

I just discovered anthony braxton while hanging out on youtube. I then did some research on him. In my opinion, he is certainly the biggest crook in the history of jazz. It's totally amazing that he could have such a career in the music world and have such academic positions. I mean, what is going on with the listeners, the media and the jazz community that they want us to believe that this guy is a genius? Everything about him is a problem: his instrumental technique is close to zero, his music itself is modern when it sounds like a beginner's band, his gibberish discourse about his music means absolutely nothing, but also his interviews in which he comes across as a pretentious old bigot. Please, retire and let the real artists play.

The voice of jealousy, probably some talentless hack.

this is what is cool about free societies. he can play what he wants and he can be critiqued and no one really gets hurt. everything just moves forward. i love it. I personally like his stuff. not everything. i mostly like he is trying. art is about trying to make something meaningful.

instrumental technique close to zero? you certainly didn't listen to him (or you either have not enough music knowledge to distinguish technique), you only need to check out his giant steps version, which is a very technichal jazz standard. Please, inform yourself before writing opinions on the internet
